Torque settings :
Tensioner bolts (12mm x 2) = 10NM
Crank pulley bolt (24mm) = 216 +/- 19NM
Belt Tension = 18 +/- 5 NM

looks simple enough... I shipped my daihatsu f78 to my country ( zimbabwe) in 2019... drove it round the african terrain.. a beast of a motor that. will be flying off once lockdown lifted and that's the first job to do before resuming the african safari trips.. thanks for that. please share more DIY tips

I'm buying a Fourtrack tomorrow, super clean even with 130k on the clock. I just wanted to check is the engine "thonk" noise normal, I can hear the same sound in this video when you stated it up.

Great video, but just had a look on official workshop manual; it says 4. Insert torque wrench into hexagonal hole in tensioner. 5. Apply torque of 10 Nm to tensioner in anti-clockwise direction, tighten tensioner bolt.
