Not all 4x4s are gigantic gas-guzzling road hogs crushing family pets beneath their chunky oversize tyres and accelerating the planet towards a dust bowl future with every revolution of their thunderous engines. The Daihatsu Terios, for example, is actually quite cute. 4x4s often get a bad press but you can't group them all together under one banner, accusing them en masse of environmental assault. Daihatsu's Terios is a compact 4x4 that can hold its own off road and is powered by a modest 1.5-litre petrol engine, it's hardly public enemy number one.

the groud clearance is 20 cm not 17 and is much better off roader than suzuki sx4 and fiat sedici with much better aproach , departure and brakeover angles you can compare it only with suzuki jimny and dacia duster

Egy szuper autó, ami kicsi terepjaro, összkerékhajtás van benne, mindig 4 kerékkel hajt. 100 km/ h ig jo hangja van, a felett hangos. 5 sebességes kézi váltós van nekem. Város es vidék nagyon jo vele, de nem autópálya. Mindenhová elmegy, felmegy. Imadom. ❤😊 mindent bele tudok pakolni.

Daihatsu terios 1.5 SX 4wd full time (tracción integral permanente modelos años 2006 al 2013) y con bloqueo de diferencial central que permite reparto de par motor 50% en el tren delantero y 50% en el eje trasero (eje rigido), es un vehículo económico, tiene prestaciones todo terreno sin serlo, es bonito, por no haber tantas unidades es exclusiva, es ágil en ciudad, podemos aparcar casi en cualquier espacio, es robusta, es alta, la sensación de manejo pareciera que fuéramos en un coche de màs valor, se puede actualizar y darle toques modernos como actualizarle su radio por una con pantalla con android auto o apple car play, cámara de reversa, colocarle parrilla, luces led, expltadoras, carpa camping etc, la mecánica es sencilla sin tantos sensores. Si se le da un buen manejo y si se sigue un plan de mantenimiento adecuado sus componentes duran mucho y son fiables y algo importante es que su valor no se deprecia tanto como otros vehículos, también me gusta que me pregunten si la vendo, ya en varias ocasiones me ha pasado esto, son llamativas y la personas que saben de carros y de calidad de daihatsu (toyota) por sus orígenes Japoneses valoran estos carros. Las personas que mas las apetecen son las personas mas veteranas que conocen la marca o han tenido un daihatsu de otra referencia. Es un Excelente vehículo. No diria lo peor, lo que menos me gusta es que no es un todoterreno autentico, le hace falta un bajo con la reductora para mas fuerza en algunas ocasiones, los repuestos si son caros pero se consiguen y duran, los mecanicos si te cobran duro en precio para su mantenimiento, se le echa de menos también que no tienen un indicador de temperatura del motor (liquido refrigerante), como son escasas las camionetas la información acerca de los mantenimientos casi no se consigue, en mi caso lo que he hecho como propietario es tener un grupo de otros propietarios y asi saber donde llevar mi vehiculo a realizar los mantenimientos preventivos con personas idóneas y con la experiencia de otros usuarios. Yo considero que es un excelente vehículo desde mi experiencia y lo que recomiendo es siempre tener en cuenta, es que uso le voy a dar al vehículo para que lo quiero, cuales son mis necesidades, y si lo puedo mantener económicamente ya sea este o cualquier otro vehículo, partiendo de ese punto de vista es el mejor auto que he tenido. No hay vehículos perfectos y este no es la excepción. Desde mi punto de vista no se puede y no se debe comparar con un renault sandero stepway, el renault sandero stepway es un automovil alto y su traccion es 4x2, el daihatsu terios okki es un pequeño 4WD con traccion total permanente en las 4 ruedas y bloqueo de diferncial central con cardan, que permite desafios 4x4 NO de alta intensidad al salir de la ciudad donde sus aptitudes 4x4 supera al renault sandero steway. La comparacion o rival inmediato en cuanto a sus caracteristicas y dimensiones seria con un susuki jimny 4 puertas, guardando las distancias y teniendo en cuenta que el susuky jimny es un verdadero y puro 4x4 que lo supera. Lastima que el Daihatsu terios a partir del año 2017 cambio de manera dramatica para mal. He sido dueño de ambos vehiculos renault sandero steway y Daihatsu terios okki.

Why oil pan dosen't go off and I have remove all bolts? I heard that there are two bolt on the fly wheel but I can't see where bolts are

How fast can you go on 4wd? And do you have to put the car in neutral to engage and disengage?

The car is permanent 4wd, the central lock diff button should be pressed only if going at slow speeds and the car needs to be in park or stopped for it to work.

Mines a 2009 and it’s literally so crappy any little broken roads and the engine will overheat. One time got stuck in very shallow mud and couldnt get out the car is on its deathbed lol

Learn to drive offroad. There are special courses. You can use youtube as a backbone but hard exp is needed. It's not your car that is crap. If I can do offroad courses with rav4.1 1995 then you can too.
