BRO WHEN I SAW THE RENDERING MY JAW DROPPED LIKE THAT MUST’VE TAKEN SO MUCH TIME AND IT LOOKS SO GOOD…. Also…… the story…… the angst……… I’m so curious about all the details.. Now for a little theorizing… I notice there’s a lot of emphasis on the intimate side of Vinny and Sara’s relationship And I wonder if it has to do with Vinny’s sexuality as a whole? Maybe he really did love Sara a lot, but he just couldn’t get himself to be attracted to her in that way Difficulty with intimacy can really do a number on a relationship, especially if you aren’t really sure how to explain it or what’s going on Maybe Sara assumed it as personal, and because couldn’t describe why he felt this way, she took that as him not wanting to talk about or fix it Throughout the whole relationship Vinny didn’t look fully satisfied in my opinion He felt awful about everything because he didn’t know why he couldn’t love her like she deserved, and that led him to spiral He cared about her A LOT, but couldn’t be a good partner for her And since he couldn’t explain himself, the people around him took Sara’s side and were disappointed in him I also noticed that when Daiki shows up there’s a moment we can someone in a dress and red shoes before panning up to him? I’m not sure what this implies? My first instinct is that the person in the dress is supposed to be Sara? The only “proof” I have of this is that her shoes are also red.. So maybe Daiki reminded Vinny of Sara? Which might have helped Vinny form his obsession with Daiki… I don’t know though

I HAVE A THEORY. So i think sara and hin were togther but she was sort of more invested in the relationship more than he was. You can see how she always seems to have her eyes on him, like during the movie scene or the meeting the parents scene and the scene where she is hugging him but he seems lost in his head. Like the two were about to get intimate but he just got too in his head. It was shown in another video the same scene and he seemed very freaked out and she was trying to comfort him, but he just just couldnt get out of his head. So, she ends up leaving him because it was too painful to sit and put so much in the relationship and him not put the same energy back... But he realizes too late that she was worth so much more in his life, but he doesnt try and follow her in the scene where she was running away so he might have thought it was too late. Im kinda interested into why her skin flaked off a bit. Idk what that could mean.. anyways, i think he joined the chess club so he could do something instead of sulk. And then he meets the other guy (i cant remember his name, im sorry) and he kinda finds purpose back in his life. I think he may or may not try and win back sara because in the video, there is a scene where you see sara when the two of them are playing chess and he blushes. I think hes in denial and is realizing that maybe he doesnt actually want to win back sara and actually wants to have the other guy, but is having to come to terms with the fact. The underwear kinda represents the fact he knows that he is attracted to him but wont admit it to himself and keeps it hidden because of it. So i basically think hes trying to win back sara but hes also attracted to the other guy and steals his underwear as a result and lives denial. The underwear the physical manifestation of his attraction, obsession and guilty pleasure (being guilty because he still thinks about sara and interacts with her, maybe trying to win her back(?))

Like your theory, but I'd also like to note some things you may have missed and that I interpreted. There's another set of eyes that pops up at 0:38 right before his do, I couldn't interpret *whose* eyes those were, but it may have been someone who hurt her in the past (basing that on her skin coming away, signs she might have been hurt mentally or physically before?) and she sees them in him so she not only runs because of his hesitation but her own demons. Also right after that, we get a glimpse of someone who looks like his father(?) so that may play a roll in his self worth and image of himself and his deterioration during and/or after the relationship! Also during the chess match, his friends are walking in the opposite direction, maybe implying his fear of everything he loves falling apart or people he cares about leaving him (lot of mental struggle).

Ngl, Vinny has always been shown to have a darker, more violent edge to his obsessive tendencies (at least, compared to Daiki, who just gets giddy thinking about him, following him, stealing something from Vinny, etc just anything that brings more of Vinny into his life) So I’m a little surprised that this video didn’t turn out darker Btw I love the psychological aspect to all of the art these two are in 😭

So Daiki met Sarah and he started dating her. I think he felt some level of affection/romance from her, obviously since they were around eachother so much and they were serious enough to meet his parents. But somewhere along the way he started changing how he felt or there was too many unsaid things in the relationship where Sarah kept trying to force it. I feel like this entire things plays out from before he met Vinny to him meeting him right when he’s starting to doubt Sarah and his relationship due to his confusion with his obsessive behavior. He probably used intimacy as a way to convince himself that it was just a fluke and that he was mean to be with Sarah, which we can see in Pad Thai. Like he’s trying to compensate for these feelings and get himself to stop, but he can’t because he’s obsessive to the point where it’s what controls/motivates/excites him even if he doesn’t want it to. In other shorts I feel like we can see that his friends don’t know what to make of his relationship or what he’s been doing in his life, even though he tried to play it off. After losing Sarah due to his behavior and lack of reciprocation, I think he’s afraid to make mistakes for fear of losing anyone else due to his growing yandere tendencies. This is sooo good! I love seeing your characters, your work is always beautiful

Oh, God, I LOVE THESE TWO, I'm not much of a BL fan because a vast majority of stories if sick, but THIS one, this one, is so sweet, yes, they bullied each other, but whatever, they are a sick pair the two of them and they both love each other then I love it because no one suffers from the two of them, they stand up for each other and love each other and it's sad to see the story behind them and that makes me love them more, MY BABIES. So if I'm reading this right, everything starts out fine. It was a normal happy relationship. Met the parents, cute dates, it was just a simple thing at the start. But as time passed, he became more. She left him became he reminded her of her ex who was abusive. Who ripped pieces of her off. Meanwhile, he doesn't understand. He just loved her. He just tried to show her his love. His friends are no help and seem to just be against him from his point. He is in a rut as he just trys to work this out. So he switchs it up. He goes to a club he never would have even glanced at before and meets. . . . Him.

Okay so, here’s my interpretation, he liked his girlfriend but not romantically. In all these shots he seems happy hanging out with her but as soon as it comes to sex he seems distraught. She was like a beard for him but neither of them knew it. Since he can’t give her what she wants from the relationship she leaves, and he seems to lose his friends because of this too? (Maybe she told them how she felt about it and they sided with her, unfortunately :( ) I don’t think he hurt her intentionally but from the image with her skin coming off and the bones visible in her arm, it must have deeply hurt her to put so much into a relationship only to find her boyfriend never really liked her that way. Not that it’s his fault mind you, just an unfortunate situation for everyone.

I think she liked him first? Cuz she kept looking, she's like the only one looking between the two of them, so I think she's the one who like made the move first or confessed first and the one who was like initiating constantly and she even like introduced him to her parents but we don't see the same way with Vins. So I think she confessed first and he just went along and dated her even tho he probably doesn't love her romantically, I mean an attractive and gorgeous woman is clearly interested in him, why would he refuse? He probably thought that that was what love felt like and he was happy just going along and evidently she meant a lot to him but I guess not in the way she wanted him to care about her. I think the scene of her like stringing him along is also like symbolism of this, she clearly was the one obsessed and in love with him and Vincenzo just went along with it, following after her but he probably didn't know what he want and felt lost and even more so when she suddenly broke up with him, letting him go when she realized that he was not interested in the same way she was interested in him and that kinda broke her so she made the decision to let him go instead of keeping him and chaining him to her when he clearly doesn't want her that way. I think he was always lost, and he wasn't really in love with her romantically so you can always see him like looking spacey now and then cuz deep down he wasn't really as invested in this relationship as he thinks he is and him slowly coming to that conclusion when he spent more time being with Daiki and gradually obsessing over him probably made him realize that what he had with her was not love on his part at all (or in this case the same obsessive type of love that he's feeling with Daiki) I also think it's interesting that Daiki was the one who played first, like the white key pieces in chess, since the white always plays first but when you look at their crowns Vins is the one with the white crown and Daiki with the black one, so I'm theorizing that Vincenzo was the one who fell in love first or the one who like got obssessed with him first and for the first time he's realizing what falling in love is actually like for him and he finally gets like what his ex was feeling all those years ago and realizing that what he has with Daiki was what he was missing all along that was not present when he was with the other girl. For the first time he was actually the one doing the initiative to get close to someone when in his previous relationship he was the one like going along with the flow instead. But I think he’s also like in denial of it considering the type of love he was feeling was borderline obsessive freaky shit and is not really typically viewed as normal and I guess considering the timeline that they broke up before meeting Daiki, Vins was probably still trying to like get back with her and denying that he’s interested in Daiki but she clearly sees through his bullshit and is concerned about it cuz wtf that some new shit she didn’t witness before LMAOOO either that or they’re still friends with each other and still see each other from time to time and both hoping that like they might get back together again but seeing through Vins and realizing that he’s seeing somebody else when he looks at her probably solidified to her that they will never get back together again. Okay I've seen a couple of theories but I do want to put despite the fact his friend's are black pieces on the board going past him some people think they're going against him for what happened with Sara they do seem to still be friend's AFTER he met black hair (Vinny is one of them it's been a while) so I think them being black pieces more symbolises he thinks they're not like him or go past him somehow, like he thinks he's on the wrong side of the board perhaps.
