I am a all around handy man. I weld (all types), electrical, plumbing, roofing (all types), siding (all types), remodeling, etc. I drive a 2003 Ford F250 4x4 crew cab "Power Stroke" 7.3 ! If I were to buy another truck I would want the same truck I have now! The 7.3 Power Stroke is the BEST truck ever made! I have had this truck since 2005, and it's still on the road running strong. I have had very few issues with this truck (water pump and a/c are the only major issues so far.

I like all these comments! I recently talked to a guy about Chevy's Duramax and he had me kinda sold on that. Ram is a pretty good looking truck these days but giving the truck a pretty interior doesn't make it a good truck. Assuming the Cummins can live up to the love it's getting, what have they done about the transmission issue?

I use my truck for my portable sawmill and all things related. I'm a Chevy man and so was my dad. I've owned 3 and if and when I need a new one it will be a Chevy. I now drive a 2007 classic 2500 Heavy duty with the duramax diesel.. It has 150,000 miles and is still going strong. I agree with you Scott, I don't like dodge, however the new Rams are not like the old doges. The company my son works for provides him with a Ram 3500 with the Cummins diesel. It is also a good truck. I've only owned one Ford and I didn't have good luck with it, however it was old and worn out before I bought it so I can't really bad mouth Ford because I was dumb enough to buy one of their products that was ready for the junkyard.

Been a logger over 30 years,my rigs get well used.First couple were used Fords, good rigs.Next was a new Chevy,no power(v-8) and 5-6 mpg.Motor and trany both went out in less than 100k,piece of junk.Bought a Dodge with a cummins new in 1996.Currently has 420,000 on it,motor never been touched, great power and 20-22 mpg, rest of rig only normal wear items.Overall very durable dependable, will probably outlive me.All of these rigs were 3/4 tons. What transmission issue??All the dodges around here just go & go.These were pickups, trucks have 18 wheels:)

Well driller and pump technician .... most employee's drive chevy trucks to work, then we all drive fords into the field... if a ford gets a ding, so what it's only a f250, no big loss.... Now that said, My F550 pump truck with the 7.3 and a 37' Pulstar hoist is wonderful, we had Pulstar install their own springs and shackles at the their factory, so much better then the stock ford F550 set up..

I've owned two Ford super dutys, two chevy HDs and just bought my first Ram 2500. Will never own anything else. The cummins is far better and the interior on the new Rams blow Chevy and Ford away
