@@mrstark8170 eh it depends on the the year, make, model, and brand really. Like the Ford gt, dodge viper, corvette zr1, Nissan gtr, acura nsx (New one not the 90s), audi r8 (all years), ferrari 458, 430, and 360. Those I've heard, and can think that reasonably they actually are decent super car daily drivers. There's a couple forums on each one of those cars where people talk about how they, or know a guy that daily drivers each of the cars I listed.

Hey Tedward, been watching your content since 50k, but just wanted to say that in addition to the strictly car related videos, I love the other vlog videos as well. Your take on driving laws in America and driver etiquette I find insightful. Most of all, the few videos you have discussing mental health have been super great for me. Whether you realize it or not, it takes courage to talk about that kind of thing in front of thousands and I want you to know that it helped me. Keep up the great videos, man!

The last of pure luxury, “adequate speed.” Not a performance car in a normal sense. The Azure is the ultimate solid Grand Tourer. You can cruise at 70-ish with so much room. The interior is pure hunting lodge and the seats are great grippy recliners. It’s the best or-nothing.

To me, the Azure is driver's car in a different way. By no means a speed demon or aggressively luxurious, but definitely a great place to be with a good bit of power under the hood. Great vid Tedward, have a nice day man

Well done. A wealthy friend who knew almost nothing about cars was walking past a Bentley showroom in London, liked what he saw, stepped in and bought one. When he took delivery here in the US, the car was out of line and the tires weren't balanced properly. There was also an obvious flaw in the upholstery. Anyhow, he invited me to drive it. I had driven only one other Bentley, a James Young S1 LWB. The exterior was absolutely gorgeous. The interior was somewhat cramped. The ergonomics were poor but the styling was, to me, very appealing. On driving it, the power was almost overwhelming and the suspension incapable of handling it. There was no anti-dive geometry, the steering much too light, road shock absorption was poor, swaying and yawing were pronounced, etc. It was a primitive car. Well, my friend's ownership experience was what one would expect. He said it was in the shop far more than on the road. After a year or two, he sold it to the first buyer foolish enough to even consider owning one. It's not a matter of money or "maintenance requirements". It's about the inconvenience of repeated random failures. Life is too short.

Treating that car like a yacht is the best way to drive it. It's basically a diesel engine at that point, especially with the torque.

Honestly what I like with that kind of cars, even if you want to be agressive because you had a rough day let's say, there is that gentle British butler voice over your shoulder that may suggest sir that this beautifully handcrafted vehicle might reward you better with softer and gentler inputs on the commands. In the end, instead of tightening a 4 points harness as tight as you can so you can brake the latest, you leave some slack, sit comfortably, and enjoy the monster torque and creamy feel embraced with leather and wood. I even drive slower sometimes, just for the extra minutes of experience ahah

Loved your video. With these old-school vehicles you either understand them or you do not. Every thing you mentioned is true a bout these cars. I my self own the non-turbo Bentley Brooklands , a 1995 model, some might say a Rolls-Royce in disguise, but any way enjoy driving it as a weekend vehicle very much, always makes me feel special, and other people I take for a drive with me. Happy motoring...

Great video as usual. I'm up to the part where you discuss the rear suspension noise...the problem with "baby cars" is that while yes, it is low mileage and has had minimal mechanical wear and tear, other items like seals, bushings, rubber dampers etc are likely done.

My late father had a Bentley S3 saloon for a time, which I drove on a number of occasions. Although not an Azure of course there are many constants. If I could sum up the driving experience, it was simply just a remarkably civilised car to drive. I get the same impression from this driver, in his video clip.

I do have a 10 inch screen in my SS VY 2004 V8 350 Ute only for Spotify ! If I am not listening to Spotify I just switch off the screen as I do not want any screen distractions, which will take my eyes off the road ! I just like old school driving, peace and quiet (except when listening to my 350 V8 :)

Bentley Azure is great, it's a pretty rare model in Japan. However, the problem is with the seat leather, which tends to loosen, which is a shame. However, I personally prefer the 2006 second generation model or the 1995 first generation model, rather than the current model.
