The engine noise gets smoother after you put a couple of thousand miles. Also, when the engine is warmed up, the noise is smoother. Also you can floor it harder than a V6 because of the battery. The noise is mostly at low speeds. Sounds pretty goods when you floor it from 40mph to 70mph for example.

I don't know, this loaner had a few thousand on the odo, and the sound is unacceptable for a car costing $60k IMHO. Great powertrain outside of the noise though!!

@DownshiftPass well imagine the new 4runners that only have the 4 cylinder without the hybrid power lol Is your right front headlight a bit dimmed vs. the left one? Toyota dealer told me they're not sure why and that they contacted Toyota.

@ Hi, I saw your video and tried to. Start the car with the control remote and worked ! Then I tried again and didn’t work Then again a couple of times didn’t work But probably after five times Started again Do you know if there is kind of settings from the dashboard to pre-set this function?
