Have you considered getting a remote control/timer for your lights? I have an outlet behind my bed that i have to plug in my aquarium lights to, and it was super inconvenient to crawl under my loft bed each day to plug/unplug them! I got a remote control that turns on/off the lights and its super super convenient.

Austin, I recommend cleaning/dishwashing gloves. Reusable for ages, easy to clean, and comfy on you hands since they are looser and you hands won't sweat!

Thank you for the suggestion! I use the disposable ones because with having so many piggies, I don’t want to spread germs throughout everyone’s cages. By using new gloves when I need to, I can ensure my piggies are safe especially from the ones who have chronic URI’s 😣

One small scoop per guinea pig? I've been overfeeding mine then😨i have 3 guinea pigs and 2 guinea pig feeding bowls that i fill to the top daily. Including a lot of green veggies and fruit. Been feeding them even more since it's winter. Should i cut back on their food. They are outside piggies, so they can have a huge play area, if that makes a difference

my guinea pig also climbed out of his cage a lot. i decided to use the grid/square thing that has no holes. he hasn’t been able to climb out of that so he doesn’t need two stacked like a prison anymore! you could try that :)

Glad to see you back! My 5 yr old asks for your videos all the time and is always disappointed when there isn't a new one. On another note (I am pretty sure you said in a previous video but don't remember which one), what kind of vacuum are you using? My vacuum clogs unless I pick up all but the smallest pieces of hay by hand first.

Yay third comment! Silly but potentially helpful suggestion, do you have a sehumidifier in your pig room? Depending on the climate and area you’re located in it can increase the risk or susceptibility to URI’s. Hopefully that can help!

Hi Austin i have 8 pigs. 2 are chronic sneezers and nasal congestion. My vet said to use a humidifier near the cage it helps a-lot!! Loooove all the mess thanks for showing what its really like !!

Our Buttercup would get that off-and-on crackling breathing. We took her to the vet for it 6+ times and they never found anything. It never seemed to bother her and she lived to the lovely old age of 8. It's always better to be cautious though and rule everything out!

Oxbow!! I learned from him the the oxbow essentials adult guinea pig pellets contain soy which is unnecessary and not the healthiest, so the oxbow garden select is the best option! Although I’m pretty sure he mixes both (or used to at least) for a bigger variety. If your pigs are under 6months you should get the same brand but the “young guinea pig” one will be best rather than the one for adults! They’re alfalfa hay based which contains more calcium than the adult ones which are Timothy hay based, since babies are growing and need more calcium!! Hope this helped

@@nadianadia3682 The part that you hear the packing... that tapping on the box and having only the sounds from the items (or sometimes whispering but that's not in this video) that is asmr... Some people adore it because it can calm them but for me it is the opposite, I get extremely uncomfortable from it.
