Hi Lisa, an advice if you allow. If you don't eliminate the problem at the root, the blanket of heat or moisture that is formed near those cracks, time 1-2 years and those cracks will recur again. Before painting, first pass a primer or bridge of cling, so as to fully adhere the paint. Greetings from Italy.

I love the cars and trucks and roads are kinda okay but the woman here …. I don’t know what to say it’s very difficult to find beautiful and genuine women here so I give up . In Russia, garages can be of completely different types :).The condition of the Russian garage depends ONLY on the owner of this garage or, in another way, the character of the owner of this garage.The first "types" of garages :). The fact is that our garages are often combined into quite large arrays :). Somewhere in the city, a plot of land is allocated for garages and 500 or more garages can sometimes be built in this place :).With such a large number of garages in one place, a kind of "community" naturally arises :) people who own these garages :). In these garages, everyone knows each other, go to visit each other from garage to garage, repair their cars (in Russia, many motorists still prefer to repair their cars with their own hands), especially since in the middle of this garage array, it is mandatory and at least some kind of car repair shop appears.In short, many of us have a life at home, a life at work and a life in the garage :).Just because, as a rule, there is ALWAYS some kind of business in the garage :).....For this reason, we have a lot of jokes in Russia....When one woman tells another woman - my husband went to the garages, which means that his return home may happen in a week :).The thing is that in Russia, in the urban area, there are almost no "private detached houses" and therefore, as a result, we do not have "separate garages independent of other garages" :).If there is a garage somewhere in the city, then there are 100 other garages around it :)....Often our garages also perform the function of a "vegetable storehouse", almost every garage has a basement .... or at least an observation pit :).Some craftsmen even make a kind of "recreation room" in our basement :), in which, for example, it is absolutely safe to drink vodka :)) and therefore only your trusted people are allowed into this "rest room" :).......You can write a lot about garages in Russia :)...."garage life" is its own separate life :).........and you can talk about it a lot :)).......BUT I became too lazy to write further:)

In America the country side has many separate large garages and what we call machine sheds . I wish I could leave pictures. In the past we had many more people who would fix their own cars and machines , some of us still do but it’s a declining thing . Our new corrupt government is changing America for the worse . New construction isn’t as much as before . In America people are surrendering to renting apartments in modern times , they build more apartments and bigger apartment complexes and people are getting more lazy . I’m disappointed and disgusted but I’m only one guy and can’t change everything. My family and I have a business and we rent a larger garage to work on trucks and equipment . I’m from the better times of America trying to be happy in the new world they are making ….

That blue powder could be dye that a plumber or handyman would use to check a toilet to see if it is using too much water. The dye is put into the toilet tank. If the water in the toilet bowl turns blue (without flushing the toilet) then the flapper or related part needs replaced. I love watching your channel. You are awesome.

Ah, nice to see Spring arrived. Renovations still in progress. What you have completed looks wonderful. A much cleaner and brighter space. I think the small rooms need the brighter colors. Lisa, if I were there, I would help you. You’re doing things well but it could be done much faster and more efficiently. The floor tile is in good shape and could be professionally cleaned to look new. The rest needs to be removed and replaced with new. What you found under the tub is really curious so I would report to this to the authorities and have it professionally analyzed.

The worst you can do with your money is to renovate someone else's apartment. You risk of being evicted, or susbstantial rent increase. For landlord there is no point to lend renovated apartment at price of non-renovated. It can start with slight attitude change and then only go worse.

The blue in the jar looked like dry poster paint, maybe for adding to white paint. There are cleaners that are specifically for black mold although bleach would get rid of it. Men with sheds, in Australia there was a place where men got together called" men without sheds". My friend had been going while his shed was on delivery at his new house. I thought it was quite funny. His shed was as big as a barn as it turned out and his model planes were huge, though nothing like his near neighbours(400 metres away) whose garage housed eight cars. I could see him mentally upgrading as he considered the view.

Your renovation videos are some of my fav.. especially when you get scared, & talk with brooms or paint rollers in your hand. It's looking very good Lisa!.. Also I do paint & drywall finishing - remodeling every day. I make pretty good money up near Chicago doing this job. I closed my auto repair garage last year because overhead $ & expenses $ are so high in usa.. So working on cars, painting cars, & painting houses is what i do. Lisa, in the glass jar is what is called Blueing to add to your whites when doing your laundry ("sin'ka = синька"). I am a 58-year-old American man, and my wife is a 54-year-old Russian from the Republic of Georgia, we both recognize it from our childhood. It is still sold in liquid form here in the U.S.. It is a bleach alternative. I doubt that many people our age would recognize it.

The jar looks like prussian blue pigment for making blue paint. No idea why they would store it under the bathtub though.

It's laundry bluing powder( if that's what they call it in English), and exactly for that reason it's in the bathroom😊

I’ve a question with your bathroom renovation: do you want to keep the tub or would you want a a full shower? If money were no object, a full glass shower with all the amenities and a beautiful soaker tub would be my dream build but I’ve the feeling your apartment bathroom will be more down to earth! 😊
