Pro tip for making smoothies with fruit. Cut up your fruit and keep it in the freezer. Pull out the amount you want to use. This way you don't water down your smoothie with ice cubes 😊

That’s a good way of using up fruit that’s close to spoiling too 😁 my children love smoothies, I don’t and they all seem to have banana in them, I’m not so keen of a lot of flavours together and banana can be overpowering to me….but I’m picky 😂

Another idea for the lemons, so they dont go bad; is to squeeze them and get all the juice collected; and pour that juice into the molds you have…we do that here all the time, its nice to just pull one cube or so when needed for a lemonade or for a recipe.

I live in the Deep South where it is usually above 90 degrees with high humidity. I always turn my air above 75 at night and use a ceiling fan and a personal fan on my head area to keep cool without using to much electricity.

You cook such wonderful food. Lots of fruits and vegetables. I cant say I will cook that much for myself. For others yes. By the time I get home, from work. Iam lucky to heat up anything. I have fibromyalgia and other illnesses, so I can understand the pain, horribly being tired. But hang in there. You will figure out what works for you. And each day it can change. I try to go along with what I have. Love your videos. Thank you!!

Hello Lou, I'm so glad to see that you are happy in this new phase in your life. You really deserve it!❤ I'm always surprised how many hours the Japanese work. In the Netherlands, we work to live, but in Japan, they live to work. Here in the Netherlands, it's a big no-no to call an employee on his day off or at the weekend. We probably wouldn't even answer the phone if our boss calls us. Only if it's an emergency, we will answer the phone if the boss calls. Our days off are our personal time with family and/or friends. And that is totally acceptable. Last week I've bought a cooling pillowcase. It works amazing. I'm always warm and sweating in bed, even in winter time, so this pillow is amazing. I hope you have a wonderful week! Sending you love from the Netherlands 🤗 🇳🇱 ❤

I love to watch as you shop for groceries. Grocery prices seem so low compared to American prices, however I noticed that package sizes for many things are much smaller in Japan. The 2 salmon packages were an excellent price though. I'm amazed by the vegetables there, they're so beautiful! The carrots are huge and look so healthy. Wish I could travel all over the world to see how other people live, it's fascinating.

Where I am from in the US southeast, okra is a very popular vegetable to deep fry, though I don't see it in other regions of the US, and sometimes people haven't even heard of it. Very surprised to see someone in Japan cooking it this way! We typically cut it into little medallions instead of frying it whole.

Hi from Canada 🍁🇨🇦 Love your videos!! 😊 A couple of things to mention however... - Firstly the thing you put on your bed is a Mattress cover...it goes directly onto your mattress and then you put the sheets on top of it. Its to prevent dust mites, dirt and sweat etc from getting onto your mattress. - Secondly, you did not remove the "poop vein" from your Shrimp...it's the dark line you see on the top of the Shrimp where you scored your Shrimp with the knife

The vein in prawns is entirely edible, and removing it or not is a matter of preference, as is the way someone makes their beds.
@anneandgang
@anneandgang 6 ай бұрын
@@janetpendlebury6808Anything is edible isn't it...but why eat poop...why would you want to? Anyone can make their bed anyway they want, having said that, a mattress cover is to do exactly that, cover the mattress for these reasons... Not only does a mattress protector prevent dirt and moisture from staining and degrading your mattress, it can also keep potential allergens in your mattress at bay. Additionally, a mattress protector can also help extend the lifespan of your mattress. My point is, in case she doesn't understand the purpose of a mattress protector, is that the way she is using it, is redundant.
@anneandgang
@anneandgang 6 ай бұрын
@@aprilgeewhiz3814Absolutely makes no sense and defeats the purpose of a "mattress protector" Plus...Sleeping directly on the mattress protector means sleeping that much closer to the synthetic material, and your sleeping surface will feel stiffer and less supple and probably hotter.

It is so hard to stay cool in the summer here as well. I live in Texas. The 1st of June starts the above 90° weather and it only gets hotter in July and August,usually in the 100's. And the UV is so high, your skin feels like it is burning just being out for a few minutes. So i try to do all my errands and shopping in the early morning hours. It is good you are using electrolytes, i do that as well.

Hi Lou, USA 🇺🇸 Missouri here. I love your blouse. You seem like you’re happier now than when I first started watching your channel. That makes me happy. Take care!😊 Also, you need a new knife. That one is dull as a piece of wood. ❤. I’m going to use the lemon ice for my ice tea. Such a good idea. Do you make enough food for your boyfriend? Or do you both just cook your own foods?

I saw you purchased a Korrs product. I noticed a lot of countries have the same brands we do in the USA. But it’s packaged differently. Or there are flavors we don’t have here
