Lou, I was on an anti depressant medication that caused me to gain 60 pounds in 1 year. The doctor didn’t believe me when I told him I wasn’t eating that much. I switched doctors and medications and the weight gain stopped. Please be your own health advocate when talking to the doctor. If you need Thyroid medication and he says you don’t…get a second opinion or even a 3rd opinion. We know our bodies better than anyone else. Big hugs!❤️

My Dad was very wise. He would tell us kids, you are your own best advocate when it comes to your health. You know yourself better than anyone. Do your own research and keep looking for a Doctor who can help you. Never settle when it comes to your health. I say this to encourage you to keep looking for answers. Good simple tip to save the edge on your knives: scrape food with the back of your knife, not the cutting edge - and even better, get a “bench scraper” - a square sheet of metal or plastic with a rolled handle - super easy to pick/scrape up chopped veggies or even flour!

Your painting turned out so nicely! I am working on one and I bought a canvas that was stretched. It was the same size at the painted surface so I stapled it onto that. You might see if there is a frame shop or art store that sells mats. It goes inside the frame between the picture and the glass or plexi. Not only will it cover the non painted edges but it will also prevent the painted surface from sticking to the glass. You can get precut mats or have one cut and they shouldn’t be that expensive.

I love your bracelet near the end - is that from the same place you usually get your jewelry? Also, the salmon looked good - next time for fun, try that same combo of salmon and vegetables with a little oil drizzled over the top and put in the air fryer. I love making salmon in the air fryer since it turns out SO yummy. Asparagus is also amazing in there!

Anche io, come te, devo stare attenta ai chili di troppo, pur non avendo problemi di tiroide dopo i 40 anni bisogna avere un occhio in più rispetto a ciò che mangiamo. Adesso che è estate mangio tanta insalata, pomodori e tonno, con pochissimo sale e olio a crudo. Così sto attenta alla dieta e, con il caldo che fa in Italia, non accendo troppo il gas dei fornelli. A questo aggiungo lo sport che faccio andando in piscina molto spesso. Hai ragione, è importante investire nella propria salute! Grazie ancora, non perderti d'animo, sei una fonte di ispirazione e di DETERMINAZIONE! Un abbraccio 😊❤😊

I understand your fear of going back to the life you had as a kid more than anyone else. I've been saving money like crazy because god forbid I go back to that life where we had to count every single penny, the worst part is that I got fired from my last two jobs, got a new one and although I want to keep this one, I'm not having much expectations because of the fear of getting fired again. I don't wanna be rich, I just want to live comfortably, hope some day I can get a driver's license, a car and a bike,move out of the house and travel, I don't wanna live like this forever. It will show where you live, hopefully where you’d like her to visit sometime and will be painted by her precious daughter. We are taking our wonderful grandson (17) school shopping this week. Oh I'm sorry. I disagree. As much as you want to do nice things for your mother or give her wonderful things, even something you made, I believe you should keep the painting. I don't think it's selfish to keep it. Just my opinion of course. It's up to you to decide. But you could keep this one and choose another one to paint and send to your mother.
