I’ve learned so much through the episcopal church as my first experience with it was in New Bern, NC at the Pepsi Cola store where they taught me Mr Bradham named his creation Pepsi after looking out the window at the Episcopal Church across the street & rearranged the letters and I believe by adding God to his personal creation his creation was blessed...I’ve been blessed by your actions and experiences with creation of my personal Daily Office I wish to share globally...I continue to need your help...just as humans mix alcohol with Pepsi, I need daily care & I need guidance daily so nobody gets hurt or looked over by my actions

why is it called the office?
@moorek19677 жыл бұрын
+Wynette Stewart The origin is from the Latin officium. It means performance of a task, in other words, you pray as your daily task, or your officium. Simply put, it is a dedicated time for which you set aside for the purpose of prayer. In modern times we have evolved the meaning of office as the space dedicated to work. But originally it meant the time and the work, regardless of the space.

_Dodeka_ means 'twelve', _didache_ means 'teaching'!

Not only that, but both are Greek words, not Latin.
