To all the people in US looking for a nice pair of shoes well made and someone who cares about customers Justin is the man. Most overseas companies that advertise products too good to be true are just that too good to be true, if they don't mess up on schedule they will mess up on customer support and are not worth the pain in the ass. Just my 5 cents

I was super pumped about this shoe brand when you posted this video and I went and looked around on their site and they don’t go up beyond a size 13… I am totally bummed. I am a size 14D

What’s the cost on adding toe plates the copper ones

Alan, is it possible to remove/replace the threading but retain the sole as you're adding a toe plate? I often see adding a toe plate (after the sole is sewn onto the welt) as compromising the threading around the toe. Its been explained that the cemet glue reinforces the adhesion and the structural integrity remains intact. However, I wonder if it would be possible to remove the threading, cut the sole for the plate, re-sew the sole, and add the plate. Possibly even change the thread color if the customer wanted

Technically it can be done but it might just end up being more worth it to resole the pair when it’s time and do it right. At least if it has a blind stitch. Open channel or closed channel stitch would be easier but would make the price go up. When we do plates we try to avoid cutting the stitches but if we do we use a thin adhesive that has a chemical reaction with the thread and bonds it very well
