Great interview. Surprised at how open and honest Ben was about hard questions and our natural assumptions about his role and politics. When asked about how much they inform vs influence the public, he said "Both, obviously." Cheers

Mark you have great guests, and I've been a keen viewer. Ive tolerated you interrupting unnecessarily in the hope you would improve but today was excruciating, Ben was very interesting, extremely knowledgeable & articulate.I sensed he had a real good story, but he couldnt get started or you cut him off as he was about to make a vital point, one intance in particular when you interrupted him mid-story to ask about the 4th estate....ah FFS ....I cant watch this is the last time...I'll tune in in a couple of months time and hopefully you're technique has impoved.

Self-funded retirees who go into Aged Care are getting screwed. I know, I know, it is the end but after paying $660,000 for a no-frills small room with ensuite and paying $225 A DAY, those self-funded retirees will whittle down their assets and end up on the pension. They can look forward to a 4.30pm dinner and 16 hour wait for breakfast. Not particularly something to look forward to.

@@MarkBourisYT so far this year we have seen in the right (pro LNP) guests like Ben Fordham and Ben English as well as pro Trump Robert Kiyosaki while in the left corner we have Friendly Jordies. Just saying, it doesn't seem all that balanced. Why don't you get say Bob Carr or some independents like Tony Windsor, Zali Steggall, David Pocock or dare i say... Jacqui Lambie
