Absolutely! People of Bangladesh are very warm and welcoming. They invite you to their home for food or make you delicious desserts. They have grown up watching Indian films and TV shows, so they are very familiar with Indian culture and languages too. One time I was at a restaurant and a man there somehow guessed I was Indian. He asked me, "Madam are you Indian?" I told him yes and he replied "Happy Independence Day Madam" I myself did not remember it was 15th August that day. Thats one of my best memories of how amazing Bangladeshi people are. I have experienced nothing but warmth. So in short, it is absolutely safe and you are most welcome here!
