there's around 6k in parts on that g8 you can resell the rear quarter is worth $$$ the 1 grille is 100-300$ by itself center console is around 800 doors 3x400 door panels 3x100 rear axle 1200-1500 dash north of 700 in part-out

Just got home from work for nearly 10 miles I was stuck behind a Chevy cruze as these were 1 of the few Chevrolets sold In Europe & been an English man this was the 2nd ever top gear track car for the celebs to set a lap time .

How do you obtain all these cars? Do you purchase from insurance companies for the most part?

Insurance companies will only send them vehicles worthy of crushing. Most come from tow yards, the city or random people. These cars are mostly all something you'd put on liability insurance anyway. Insurance will send most anything worth repairing to copart or IAA for be sold. Im sure they buy some from these places but that's probably not their primary business.

Let’s see the SRX crushed, a co worker of mine had the exact same color one and everything. Such a piece of junk but he kept fixing it until over 200K miles. Funny guy but unfortunately he is no longer with us due to cancer.

@ ultimately yes, he had to have the timing chains replaced, 2 differential replacements, two water pumps, two starter and finally a battery drain that resulted in him taking out all of the unnecessary fuses.
