Thank's for your work. I needed motivation to play something appealing for me. Fortunately, your song and your score have been challenging for me. I hope you like my modest performance. Currently I'm learning "inside out", another piece of art, with your permission... From Spain. kzbin.info/www/bejne/qIDbpYmLgclpb5o

i like this, his touch is very light but groovy, not to difficult but really nice to hear and that's with music,

What a masterpiece! Both - the tune and the drummer! I like the "weird" accents in the end of phrases starting from the bar @ 2:49 and on. And on the whole, you kind of stretch and shrink the time playing across-the-bars grooves here, "ruining" the system. That's so pleasant to feel. Thank you. You're so prolific with all that music! Stay healthy!

Thanks so much as always, Alex! Yes, I try to make my play-along tracks exciting and challenging for the drummer :)

The drums are tuned so nicely!! It takes quite a lot of skill and experience to be able to this THAT WELL. Nice man!! You earned a sub.

Thanks Andrew! Yeah, I do like those rhythmical illusion-type grooves :)

Two small requests: 1. Can you please make a video in which you show yourself playing all the instruments and not just drums? 2. Can please make a video in which you show the whole process of how you make these videos, starting from writing the song, performing it, and then animating the transcription in the video?
@DailyChops4 жыл бұрын
Thanks Dhruv, I hope to add more cameras and show more of the creation process at some point. I'll see what I can do :)

2:57~ so clean btw what's the advantage of holding your left stick backwards and switching it back midway? are there certain patterns that are easier to do one way than the other? ty!!
@DailyChops4 жыл бұрын
Thanks! It gets you a better cross-stick sound, but you can also use it to get a fatter snare sound.

Hello again. I would like to know about the video score you use in your fantastic videos. How is the name of this resource/tool? I need something in order to look for some info and learning how to make them. I´ve realized it´s a good way to make myself scores without passing pages in my tablet. Many thank´s in advance.
@DailyChops3 жыл бұрын
Hi! I use a combination of Sibelius and Adobe After Effects. You can also use Soundslice or use MuseScore in panorama view, both of which are free. Hope that helps.

Of course your drumming is phenomenal as always, but I was also really impressed with your keyboard playing here - that solo was tasty! You're simply an all around great musician. Do you play in a band or have any recorded music out there?
