Yeah, that thumbnail meme describes how I feel about those grumbling and complaining about Tears of the Kingdom reusing Breath of the Wild's assets whilst expressing nothing but outright love and support for Majora's Mask and ignoring the fact that they did the same thing with that game, reusing many of the assets from Ocarina of Time to create it. It's hypocritical, to put it mildly! Now, know this.....I'm not the "Consume! CONSUME! *CONSUUUUUUUUUME!* " type when it comes to games, movies or other forms of entertainment. If it's bad, I *won't* support it. But, from everything I've seen, Tears of the Kingdom looks like it will be pretty good, which is good enough for me!

Well, the main difference here is, Majora was forced to reuse assets as the game was created in less than a year. Over seven years passed between BotW and Tears. Still a good game, but the two situations aren't really comparable

Fun fact: while I enjoy the story, I will never personally play Majora’s mask. Why? I hate time trials, and the game is one giant time trial. And before anyone says “but muh time travel,” yeah I still have to get the ocarina in the first three days to do that plus memorize the song of time.
