G87 M2 becomes my winter beater.. Winter Wheel Setup!

Hey everyone welcome back to another video! I've recently decided to winter drive my G87 M2 and as a result I needed to buy a winter wheel package. I'm happy with the way the car looks with these new wheels even though the offset isn't great and the rears are 19's rather than 20 inch like OEM. I threw spacers on the rears and fronts and it looks much better. Enjoy the video, many more coming soon!

Went 15mm, probably could have gone 20mm but it's a solid improvement!

Got those same winter tires on my OEM wheels. I had to order from paddeshifterz in Germany for the 19/20 They feel good on dry road so far

They were hard to find though Nestor . They grip amazing in wet driving - it was a rainy and low 40 F weather in Chicago land and it feels very confident, very grippy at speed

With this low ground clearance, it looks like your car will transform into a snowplow, if there is more than an inch of snow on the road (that's speaking from my extensive experience of driving a 2014 2-series in winter). But I'd like to be proven wrong on that.

I've beached my F87 on snow before so I'm expecting to do the same with this car haha. Its just part of the fun of winter :)

Don't have any links as my tire shop hooked me up with everything, but hub centric spacers in 15mm for front, 20mm for rear. Michelin Alpin 5's in 275/35/19, superspeed RF06RR in 19x9.5 ET 25.

Do you like your M2 better than the C8 you had?

Yea, I definitely enjoy the M2 a lot more. The C8 was great in 2020 as it was rare and had that IT factor, but now they're everywhere. Also too slow and not easily tunable as it's NA engine. Saw one recently and the interior was shockingly dated already compared to newer cars. Just can't beat the handling and tunability of this M2.

@@DailyDownshift Good to hear it, I am torn myself. I really love the C8 convertible just for being a unique proposition as a hard top mid engine convertible at its price point and the DCT is really nice. It is kind of a dog at 70+ MPH though. My friend just got a 24 M2 and its really nice and the price on them is quite good imo. I also love the C7 z06 but the interior is kinda dated unfortunately. UGH decisions, decisions.

@@MrAleB305 I don't think you can go wrong either way, both are good cars in their own right. C8 will get you more looks and you'll feel special driving a mid engine car, but the M2 wins in handling, performance and features.
