Law enforcement is all about being an entitled, demanding Karen. You harass the shit out of anyone who makes the mistake of thinking their home isn't a prison. Eventually, nobody leaves their house, except for groceries. The lower the crime rate, the more people dial 911 just to try and survive anti-social interactions. People think their lives are movies, where strangers have to read their lines to fit your expectations, otherwise you have a huge issue with them that can only be resolved by destroying them with false accusations. If you've ever just walked around outside, not only do you run into these people who arbitrarily assume you're a criminal, but then you get these people absolutely INSISTING that you have a very specific kind of conversation with them. It's really the easiest way to get arrested. Just go outside for a walk, completely minding your own damn business. People lose their god damned minds when they see some shit like that. Honestly, it's too dangerous to walk around outside, because people can and will dial 911 and say that you threatened to kill them. You'd need a body camera. There's honestly just an epidemic of narcissistic bigotry out there. It's practically a tattle tale war zone.

Long story still long. They were complete asshats. Know your rights. They can't ask the passengers for i.d they can't search the car without permission.. no matter what they say just refuse. If you get out lock it. They can't search you either. They can pay you down for weapons but even if they feel something they can't go into your pockets or anything so make it clear you can pat me down for your safety but you cannot go into any of my pockets or turn then inside out or search Me in any way . They also can't search any backpacks or bags in the car either.

What do you mean someone "called you in"? I live in Canada and I do not understand. The officers do not seem to know what they're doing.
