Both Dave and Damon are polite and respectful about the way they go about telling the officers that they may be misinformed about they laws that they say they are breaking. Their knowledge of driving laws definitely help but it’s how they go about saying it that matters.

Damons been featured in Police interaction audit videos and always gets high marks. He knows how to deal with Police and isnt intimidated by the badge. It helps he has "ticket dismissers" to help with the legal stuff in the US, this is backed up by knowing his rights and not giving more info than he needs to.
