Straightforward and concise. Thank you! It's not easy to get a mac virus or trojan, but it is possible. I'd add, "be very aware of files you download from the internet". If you are not positive it is save there are scan programs to ensure you're not downloading any malware, trojans, viruses.

the similar notifications were popping on my Mac but not with safari but with settings icon, could it be possible that no such virus is affecting my Mac and all these notifications are just a scare? I did end up downloading mcafee antivirus on my Mac just to be safe, and even after running a full scan of the computer it mentioned zero viruses found. Is there anything that I still need to worry about?

I learned that if you remove the "allow" option in the notification center they just stop popping up on the screen, I had the same exact problem and it brought ne each time to the mcsafe but everything I'd open my settings it wouldn't show me anything about a virus, it's not much of a solution but it helps. The "click if you're not a robot" notification will be at the top or somewhere on the notification list in your settings

thank u smmm i knew smth was wrong when i got a bunch of notifications saying a whole bunch of bs abt mcafee. i looked it up and it was a virus and i went straight into deleting everything like apps or anything that i thought was the cause. but i still got so many notifications every minute. i was worried that this wouldn’t work for me since i was getting the notifications from system settings and not safari but ur tutorial still helped me and fixed my problem!!! thank u God blesss
