Decoupage tip: if you put the mod podge or any brand of decoupage on your project let it completely dry then get your napkin, paper or what ever you're using lay it on the area you put the decoupage and use a hot iron to stick it down. The hot iron heats the decoupageand makes it sticky and adhere to you picture, once you have your picture layer down and adhered then put another coat of decoupage. Use parchment paper on your project to iron it. This is a great technique for not getting bubbles and wrinkles in the picture, I use this technique on everything I can fit my extra small craft iron I have...

I have kitties, and their litter comes in heavy-duty boxes. I hate throwing them in landfill. So I have used these boxes to make stairs for my old kitties and dogs to get up on the very tall beds. I also make shelves that I keep by my door for my outdoor shoes. Another set of shelves is in the bathroom where I put extra tissue, wipes, toilet paper, and a place to set my phone so I don't forget and leave it in my pocket. The shelves get milk bottle cap legs. I've covered these variously with African fabric, with burlap, with scrapbook paper, and with paint. Contact paper would be ideal, but I don't have access to any here. Instead, I use polyurethane to protect them.

I was happy to see you recycling your rubbish (again!)into something cute and useful. I save pickle jars (I love zesty bread and butter pickles so I have a lot). I spray the lids a pretty color (red) and store my whole spices (sold in bulk from the Indian store) . Sometimes I cut out a cute printed paper circle to the lid and decoupage it on. . I label them on the lids and lay them on their sides on my “spice shelf.

@@andie9691 I understand what you’re going through right now. My son was evacuated from High Level, AB two summers ago due to the out of control wildfires. He packed a bag, got his two rescued cats ready to go in carriers and stuck out his thumb. He had no vehicle at the time. Since then he has found employment in the Yukon and after some trouble finding a decent place to live he is doing well and is happy. My prayers are with you! Remember that most things can be replaced. You and your pets cannot be! Deep breath, try to stay calm, and know that we are hoping for the best for you and praying for you and the others who must flee the area. 💜🙏💜

Its enjoyable watching your videos because you are so sweet and cute.......another idea for the bicycle wheel is to take one of the square shaped hooks and paint it the same color as the wheel and hang the wheel on it rather that hang with a rope. The center holds it away from the wall and the hook would hold it out even .
