i also like the raspberry twist with about 2-3 leaves of rosemary, hard to describe the change, i believe it adds some kind of herby smoothness, also i use sugar syrup(20-25ml), a whole lime(roughly 30ml)(if youre not sure squeeze in first an measure it with a jigger) and only 60ml of white rum! I also like a twist with a couple of mint leaves and blueberries roughly 7-9 would do the job :), Cheers!

Paul Barnes Moose milk? Tell us more.
@paulbarnes154910 жыл бұрын
We used to make it in bulk and the only recipe I can vaguely remember is something like, 1/2 bottle white rum, half bottle dark rum, half bottle Kailua, 1 pint ice cream, 3 pints milk, mix up, sprinkle nutmeg on it and place the big dish of it in the freezer for 2 hours. We used to enjoy it when working with the Royal Canadian Navy, usually on a Sunday before singing shanties (known informally as Church). I'd like to see what you could do with this basic recipe for an alcoholic milk shake.

is it so wrong to serve it on crushed ice? because that's how they served it in havannas floridita bar ;)

im 3 years late. But most drinks if served with ice IN the drink. RUN!!! Now if they put the glass in a box or something that keeps it chilled it's another story. But ice'll just make the flavour go away(watery) fast. If you're gonna have to drink this fast to prevent it. The chilled glass/drink should be enough.

looking for a raspberry drink that Bennigan's restaurant made at one time. of course the restaurant is not longer around. the drink was sweet, i remember it as being thick, rimmed in golden sugar. served in a tall thin glass. i thought it was called a raspberry daiquiri. but i could be wrong.. can you help me find it drink... it was very good. by the time i got to the bottom i was light headed. hehe. oh and the color was a purple pink .

+Jamie Oliver's Drinks Tube NO... that drink is thin... the drink i am asking about was frozen. I just found out that it was served at CHILI'S, not BENNAGAN'S... in looking around i think that it might have been made with Chamboard. i know that Chili's does not serve this any more.

powdered sugar contains anti caking agent. But if you make your own powdered sugar by blending/blitzing some sugar you would be fine.

I see guys here commenting on how it's a woman's drink. That may be so in your book. I'm typically and Ale or bourbon kind of guy. But I'm 6 foot 2 and 312 lb. (That's a work in progress. I was 55 pounds heavier). Point is. I'm secure enough in my masculinity to say that I also drink these and they're fantastic. Along with other "ladies drinks". Lately I've been enjoying Rye Old Fashioneds. (A manly mixed drink)
