For that ink bottle - I think it has that cap with the pour spout thing - to make it easier to control how much ink you pour out onto a paint well or pallet so you don't have to contaminate your whole bottle of ink by dipping a brush into it. Not sure, but that's what I thought when I saw it.

Hey it's ok! Having what I call a public job is very hard! And you've handled it very well for a long time! Like you said, if they don't watch the videos, they don't watch the videos and that's ok! Your content isn't for everyone, neither is anyone else's content. Take a break if you need it, your health is the priority.

So excited to see what openness brings you this year Temi! There’s nothing like new art supplies and trying new things! Sometimes throwing yourself in the deep end with trying out a different medium/different subject is just what you need to get back into your creative rhythm again! Often times than not, although it’s daunting you might surprise yourself with the outcome! Love that you challenged yourself with this piece Temi, looking forward to seeing your future works!

Windsor and Newton's gold ink is INCREDIBLE. It separates a little- NOT like the bronze in the vid though, just the gold flex, a quick paint brush handle mix works in like 10 seconds. I've had my last pot over 3 years and you can still use it like new.

Hey, Temi! If you're looking for some cheap paints with good metallics, the folk art brand has some good ones. There's metallic purple, red, green and orange, and then there are more traditional metallics like silvers and golds. They also have some neat color shift paints, as well. Stuart Semple also has a gold and silver that I've enjoyed. Hope this helps!

My favorite Daiso product is their watercolor holder for travels it’s so good tho and cheap. And their Sketchboooks some are thick and I usually use them . I use those for my anime art since I’m into anime or it would be a scratch book for Solving math equations. Their 2b pencils set it’s so Budget friendly and made me spend less for pencils.

That glass paint looks a heck load like opaque window colour ^^ Maybe you can put something like a marble into your metallic paints as shaker balls? Almost sure that'll help you mix those faster. Did you try to see if that calligraphy ink is waterfast or resistant? Most of those I know are fluid India Pigment ink and you can use it for a lot of different stuff, like line working and hatch heavy dip pen drawing styles or if you wanna do something more painterly maybe look in Japanese sumi-e or traditional Chinese ink painting styles :3 I wish there was a Daiso around me here in Germany, those materials like they would be fun to try out :D

Oooh, yes! One or two ball bearings might be just the thing in those metallic paint pots. Like in nail polish or in spray paint.

What an awesome video! Although I think all of your videos are awesome. Truthfully I say that sincerely. I'm curious now that you're on the other side of 2022 how is it that you feel about your year of exploration into different art forms? I am saving this video, I don't do that often, but this is one that will be encouraging on any day whether I'm stuck in art having a rough day and just need a keep trying vibe, or a day where I'm feeling adventure some and will try to follow how you created that beautiful picture. I never thought about using dotting tools to scrape away layers as accents. Excellent idea. I enjoy both here shorts and your longer videos. Truth be told I like the longer videos because they're deeper in content. I like to understand the process that got you from A to B , not just the summary. Blessings.

The nozzle on the calligraphy ink (or sumi ink) is to pour the ink into a shallow, small dish so you can dip your brush or pen into it. You can use it like a watercolor or ink with a brush or pen, it's popular among manga/comic artists for linework.
