I miss D.B. ......Manson started to suck when he left. I've always respected Twiggy as a bassist but Manson made a mistake letting Scott go. He created his own sound.....Psychocoustical guitar. He developed his own style guitar as a genre all its own. There's only what.....maybe two hand fulls of guys that can say that. I loved their sound back when and while I dug Antichrist Superstar only a few tracks were complex at least from a 🎸 standpoint.....which just so happened to be the tracks Scott worked on. Tourniquet being 1 of them. I believe Wormboy was another Scott worked on as well...I think thats what it was called. I can't remember cause I haven't heard it in like a decade or so. The rest wasn't all that great as far as writing goes. Twiggy had to basically help fill in on guitar and given more time I know Twiggy would have killed it and it would have been better but he didn't have alot of time plus he had to do his tracks as well and I know he did other shit also. Being in a hurry to get it done after Scott left it just got simple. Sometimes simple is good and simple can certainly be heavier alot of the time. It should have been better than it was is all I'm saying. It all went to shit when Daisy left. It really went to shit when Twiggy left.

@@ps.6023 You got me. You're 100% correct.....I forgot about G.G. Those were the days. I was only a fan from almost the start until a bit after PortrAit. Lets be honest though.....as far as Manson goes.....anyone could play bass for them. Same goes for guitar....even though Scott's style was something to be desired because it was an original kinda thing and not some trendy rehashed kinda thing....its not like it was difficult to play. It was his sound and style I always admired. When I made music and did the band thing for a while I wanted it to be original. If it didn't sound that way I scrapped it. Any Manson musician never really blows you away.....on any instrument. Yes....it was an original sound but at the same time none a these guys sound like they study at Juilliard. I mean when Manson came out I was like 11 or 12. I could play anything they played and had only been playing like a year at the time. As soon as I grew up more I lost interest. I can truly say it was more about being an outcast for me. I never wanted to be anything else. Never wanted to be normal. It wasnt about goth or a fashion statement. I did know quite a few people that wore fishnets and make-up but that shit just wasn't for me. Its the message I guess is what got me. Its hard to be a Manson fan once you've gone to see Pantera and White Zombie together. Tool on the Aenima tour really blew my mind as well. It was all a blur from then on.

@@joeyferguson840 yes anyone could play bass for them, but Brad(Gidget) was more than just a bass player, he gave the look and attude that allowed the band to excell, much of Brain's Sucess was owed to Gidget, ie the looks, the content and the refrences. I was jamming on this Mesa Boogie amp that I later bought and my friend Smurf came over. Check it out he said....its Dime. I looked over and saw this guy with his back turned and he looked so short. I said that ain't Dime....2 secs later he turned and I saw his face. We all went over to meet him. I had a piece of paper they gave me coming in the store I was gonna have him sign. My friend and bass player Jeremy....we called him Germ. I used to say the chili peppers had Flea. We had Germ. Anyway he ripped a price tag off a guitar and had him sign that. I had him then sign that piece a paper....he looked at me and said "you want me to keep signing this" and I said hell yes. I'll sell the extras. He laughed and said "better take your ass to kinkos" Of course later we went outside and waited for him to come out to ask him if he wanted to burn one with us. He declined....said he had to run but he'd catch us on the flipside. I understand. Your famous....you can't just go smoke with anyone. You could be smoking anything ya know. He had walked in and browsed.....walked to the front and said a few words and they pushed this giant roller with all this gear out to his car. He didn't pay for shit. This was in 98...he signed them all Dimebag CFH98. I have the 1 I kept framed with a photo of his gravesite. He's buried about 100 ft. from my grandparents and another 200 from my Aunt and Uncle. I always stop by his grave and say my peace after I visit my family. I will always treasure those times meeting him cause he was my idol and he was a real laid back individual. Such a good guy. I saw Pantera in 96 with Zombie.....that was the show I mentioned in the earlier comment....the one where Phil Od'd on heroin. Again in 97 and 98 and 01. I wanna say 2000 as well but I can't remember too well. A couple of those shows were from Ozzfest and being there's so many bands there I only remember seeing a few. SOAD and Slipknot in OF 99. Slipknot was on the second stage playing to a crowd of 50 people or so. That was before anyone really knew who they were. I mainly went to that show just to see the Deftones who were my favorite band at the time. Seen them a few times the last of which was with Stone Sour and Korn who had Buckethead filling in for the just Head who I guess was busy on his spiritual retreat in Jerusalem at the time. I've seen Korn twice with original line-up which was the Korn I prefer. Met em at a signing and got pictures shaking Monkeys hand and got 1 of my friend Crystal hugging J.D. She was the big Korn fan though and made me drive her there. It was a cool experience though. Anyway that show with Buckethead was cool cause I went with a guy who was good friends with the head of security at Smirnoff....formally Coca Cola Starplex and he got us two floor passes and we got to go backstage and meet everyone. That was a blast. Did it again a year later and got to meet Rob Zombie. I would have rather it been W.Z. cause I always wanted to meet J. He's another guy I really admire when it comes to guitar. I love his sound....especially in Devil Music.....so smooth but heavy at the same time. I treasure the fact I got to see them as well cause I believe they broke up not long after that tour. In 2001 I went to another Ozzfest just to see Mudvayne on the second stage. We left right after.....I envy the fact you knew Scott and Brad.....I always wanted to see Manson in the early years. Had to make do on the AntiChrist tour....it was memorable only because of the date. I got to see them on December 31st 1999....bringing in the millennium at Will Rogers in Ft. Worth. I wasn't gonna go at first when I found out Scott wasn't gonna be with em and I almost didn't go. Believe me when I say I tried to scalp my tickets before the show. Now I'm older and haven't been to a show in maybe a decade or so. I miss those days. It was good to be young.

Here are some key details: Putesky sued Manson in 1998 alleging he was owed publishing royalties for co-writing songs on Manson's albums. Putesky claimed he was due royalties as a co-writer on many songs but hadn't been paid properly. The case alleged breach of contract and unjust enrichment by Manson's label and publishers. In 1998, the parties settled the case out of court for an undisclosed sum and agreement on future royalties. Specific settlement terms were not made public, but Putesky was said to have regained some of his royalty rights. Putesky later said the settlement wasn't hugely lucrative but did get him his proper share of credits and royalties moving forward. He and Manson remained estranged after the lawsuit until Putesky's death from cancer in 2017 at age 49. So in summary, Putesky settled his royalty lawsuit against Manson in 1998 for an undisclosed amount and agreement on proper crediting and payments. It was a legal victory that got him the compensation he was seeking.
