Beautifully done, especially the wood. I'm glad I'm not the only one interested in breathing life into these old Daisy bb rifles.

Nice job on your restoration. Thanks for the inspiration to restore my 1975 American made model 1938 RR. I just finished stripping and repainting/staining all of the parts. I will be borrowing your idea for using the electrical conduit for a spacer to accommodate a new model 25 shot tube. I am upgrading to a Cobalt327 custom spring and larger custom air tube to increase the muzzle velocity even more. Can't wait for those parts to arrive!

I just started to restore my Red Ryder that my parents gave me when I was 12 and I'll be 73 in April. I never thought about taking it apart though and didn't think I could get replacement parts so your video is a great help. I'm not sure how far I'll go to restore it to look new of just look reconditioned with the wood etc. All I have done so far it used a dremmel on the metal parts and hand sanded the wood. I was thinking of black paint but decided to keep it natural worn looking. Thanks for the video and your time.

Great job! I've never even thought about using electrical conduit for spacer applications on the Model 25 shot tube mod. What kind of torch were you using for the fireblue process? Looks like a lot better flame control than the propane rig I use.

just a propane coleman bottle and a self igniting torch. I just want to say thanks because you taught it all to me about these Daisy lever guns and I love the way the fire blue comes out !

@@northbluehilloutdoors4306 It does give you a lovely play of color and if you're not happy just wire wheel if off and try again,

@@northbluehilloutdoors4306 Probably a stupid question but, i assume, one can not fire blue, the lever, if its material, other than the frame and barrel?

Idk why Daisey over rates fps at 350. All the ones I've seen on a crono only do 275 fps. Cheers!
