It's the easiest way I have seen to do the daisy stitch. Thank you.

Easy? I disagree. I tried it this way first & it came out wrong. I found a video of the same stitch done another way. It looks nice & I'm almost done with the project.

Thank you very much for going slow and showing everything clearly. The other people I watched go about as fast as they would regularly. I can't tell what side the yarn is going or anything. I can tell everything here without question. I can count how many times the yarn goes over too. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

You can change the speed settings for youtube videos by going to the 'gear' button, part that says speed, and set it to what you need. Of course, it is best when instructions are slow from the get go, but sometimes such videos are not available. I like to use it for listening practice for languages.

Thank you so much! A super easy method to this gorgeous stitch. I've watched other videos and cringed when I heard the tightness of the tension on the yarn. My hands actually hurt just hearing them. Your method looks so relaxed and calm, and as beautiful as this stitch.

repeat till last 3 stitches then p 4 how if there is only 3 left do you p 4

wendy attwell, Exactly!!!! I'm just as confused and no one has said anything about it! :/
@AnnaKwonda6 жыл бұрын
Did you figure this out yet? I had the same question and realized there's no mistake in the video.
@pixiegardenia34796 жыл бұрын
Anna Kwon when I pearled the last three stitches (not 4) the pattern came out right still. I think the pearl 4 was a typo and it was supposed to say pearl 3
@AnnaKwonda6 жыл бұрын
Pixie Gardenia the repeat from * includes a p1 at the end, so you end the repeat with a p1, then purl 3 more :).

I redid this 8 times because they didn’t say 7 stitches in the beginning. It says 6 + 1! How am I supposed to know that it’s 7 if it says 6!
@octollyr5 жыл бұрын
This was a while ago but hopefully this still helps. Generally the " # of stitches +1" is done as a way to let you decide how wide you want it. In this case you would cast on multiples of 6 and then add 1 stitch at the end. So: 6 +1 (7 total) 12+1 (13 total) 18+1 (19 total) This way you can make your pattern as wide as you like while still being able to do the daisy technique.
