Springs on the bail of my BG30 have been bad for several years now of the decade+of which I've owned the reel, and now you've given me the instructions and confidence to go through the whole reel and regrease everything in addition to fixing the bail .Thank you for your time! Well done.

Thanks on the reassembly! I think you put that last bearing in wrong way... the open side with bearing should face inwards.

​@@bmwmaxmad1314in his description he lists links for all the greases and tools used: Penn reel grease. ... But I bet any marine saltwater (trailer) bearing grease would work perfectly.
