Man...I spent quite a bit of $$ this year on salt water gear. I don't know if I'll ever get to use my 2speed 40. I don't even touch my speed master 2 and I'm already wanting to buy another LD15h.

@@DaiwaUSA that's what i thought because i just bought the 35ii and the 40ii but obiously on the 40 the spool looks a bit narrower than the 50.. can't wait to use them this season 💪 i only need the 60 to complete my kite set up

Badass video! Which of these saltiga reels would you recommend for a do it all? I like inshore also. Fishing the surf and jetties. And which rod would I pair it with?
@DaiwaUSA4 жыл бұрын
Leo Mann a 35 is a good all around size. The narrow spool is easier to manage your line so it makes it a good casting size as well. Our Proteus Rods are a great match, we have many options to match whatever size Saltiga you are fishing

Will the Saltiga 40 Lever Drag be enough for Yellowtail and Bluefin? Planning to take a trip down to San Diego soon. Should I also choose a 7' or 7'6" rod? Thanks!
@DaiwaUSA4 жыл бұрын
Absolutely. The 40 will be a good option for bigger Tuna. A 7' XXH Proteus rod would work well for the jumbos
@silvermist96444 жыл бұрын
@@DaiwaUSA I ended up getting a 7'6" XHF since they dont offer it in 7'. I should be ok right?
