When Sam said about being happy for the first time in a long time, and you mentioned Amelia. I don’t think he was TRULY happy with her. He cared about her and all, but he had also just lost everything. He wasn’t truly happy, because he didn’t have his family. That’s just my thoughts on that! 🙃 The stuff with Ezekiel makes me so uncomfortable. Yeah, he was saving Sams life, but it’s all just very eugh. You really realise here that he can just take control at any point and it is truly disturbing to me to think about someone having that type of control over anyone, especially without that person knowing. And dean knowing. It’s all just not right to me... 😔

In every season its pretty much Sam fault. He's just irresponsible with his choices and sometimes could be a little annoying and little bit selfish at the same time. I am more of a Dean fan while whinny Sam just gets on my nerves especially with the whole Benny situation last season and how he hired that crazy Hunter to kill him and almost killed his great-granddaughter.

I have mixed feelings about Dean'speech to Kevin. On the one hand, I believe he's sincere when he calls him family and it's touching. But, on the other hand, if it was Sam instead of Linda whose fate was up in the air, there's no way Dean wouldn't try to find him. So preventing Kevin to do the same for his mom sounds a bit hypocritical and unfair to me. I like this episode, not one of my favorites but still very solid with nice moments.

I get that she don't know the whole story, but Jesus, even Dean blame him for everthing, as if Dean hadn't broken the first seal. "as if Dean hadn't broken the first seal" Sam knowingly working with a demon after Dean and the angels told him not to is a little different than Dean wanting Alastair to stop torturing him in Hell don't you think?!? And Dean had literally nothing to do with the rise of Lucifer! He tried to stop it from going down. Rewatch the season 4 finale!!! I think people are too hard on Sam too but Jesus Christ, this comment is completely biased and obtuse
@anthFirst4 жыл бұрын
@@thalia9789 Dean helped free Lucifer, he didn't do it consciously, but Sam didn't do it consciously either. Sam and Dean both wanted to kill Lilith because the both thought that by killing Lilith they would stop Lucifer, but remember that angels and Lilith were the only ones who knew what the last seal was. (So Sam wanted to stop Lucifer, not only Dean) Blaming only Sam for Lucifer's rise is unfair. I mainly blame the Angels (those guys were dicks xD)
@sofialu2264 жыл бұрын
@@thalia9789 I think you are the one who has to rewatch the finale. Dean broke the first Seal without knowing, same did Sam with the last one. None of them knew Lilith Was Actully the last seal. Both wanted to kill Lilith to stop her from suppousley "Braking the last seal". When Cas decided to tell Dean the truth, it was too late. And Sam choosing Ruby make sense, as wrong as it was, it make sense. After Dean got brutally killed and went To Hell, Sam became depress, desparete, lost and with a suicidal disire, he was clearly emotionally unstable. Ruby, the Demon that has been saving them over and over since she first appeared, is back to "Help" Sam. She gave this emotionally unstable Sam the power to kill Lilith, but also a power who will let him save others from posession without hurting the person, not as the Knife did. Ruby used Sam's kindness againat him. With that, Sam used it to wrongly justifie himself, but he was liing to himslef. When Dean is back he didn't even try to see it from Sam's perspective, It was never about Agreeing, it was About Understanding. Which is not the same. You can Understand why someone did X thing, but that doesn't mean you agree or think its ok. Even Bobby said to Dean "Is about pulling him back, not Pushing him away", and Dean did the complete opposite, screaming at him, punching him, calling him Monster and telling him the exact same words John said to Sam when he went to Standford "If you walk out of that Door, Never Come Back" what was Dean especting!? It was obvious Sam would get Angry, and in his desesperation to prove himself to Dean he went to Kill Lilith. But remember Sam doubted but he heared the voicemail wich was modified by Zachariah to provoque Sam even more. So yeah, Sam has part of the fault "For Choosing" but he wasn't really doing it, he was forced and manipulated to that point, even Lucifer said in S5 finale how Sam grew sourrended by Demons, in Lucifer's words: Sam was guided "Like a Dog on a Leash". Sam doesn't deserves The Whole Blame on it. No one is to blame except for the Angels, Demons and "The Big Plan"

Sam definitely shouldn't get ALL the blame but MOST of the blame does fall on his shoulders. I don't understand why Sam stans can't accept that? I love Sam, Dean, Cas, etc. but they are not free from sin. Everyone on this show has made mistakes. Shit happens. It's not "hate" when someone states the obvious.
@sofialu2264 жыл бұрын
@@thalia9789 I don't know what you are talking about xd I never say it's not Sam's fault, I say that I don't get why Everything is on him. Everyone has a part of it. Since Dean, to Sam, to Lilith to basically all the Angels and Demons too. It was a plan written and thought for mellenios, even befor Sam and Dean were born, you can't blame all in them or just in Sam when they were manipulated for the most powerfull beings at the moment. Neither Sam or Dean knew Lilith Was the last Seal until Cas betrayed Heaven and say it to Dean, but it was too late. For what they knew, Lilith was Going to Brake it, not that her Death Was the last one. Everything was a Chain of events that slowley were meant to end in "The Finale Fight". But as Chuck said "They faced destiny and made their own" When Sam jumped to the pit he did it not especting to come back, he redeem himself for his part on it. So I'm sorry if I get angry when Someone blames Sam in that way, but he doesn't deserve that.

I think Dean was 100% right to allow Ezekiel to possess Sam. I don't agree with Suicide or wanting to die or anything like that cause i think there's always a light at the end of every tunnel. No matter how bad it gets there's always a way to make it better. Only way I'd agree with knowingly/willingly dying is if it saves people. Ex: Holding off the bad guys so the others can get away. Or doing what Captain America did in his first movie (he didn't die granted but if he did) or better Steve from Wonder Woman blowing himself & the bombs up to save millions. Those situations I understand. So if there was ever a time I think Dean should've allowed Sam to just let go it would've been to close the Gates of hell. But even then I'm glad Dean didn't let Sam do it. Clearly Sam didn't actually wanna die or he wouldn't have been able to be talked out of it. He had literal DEATH there, he could've easily asked Death to remove Dean & Death would've done so. "That's up to Sam" was Death's words. Dean didn't make the choice for him, Sam had to wanna live. He said he wanted Dean to help him & Dean did. Not in the way Sam thought sure, but he's helping like Sam asked. And Sam will literally die without the healing Ezekiel is providing. Keeping it from Sam does suck. But given the information Dean has (Sam will die without Ezekiel, if Sam knows about the possession he can possibly kick the weak Ezekiel out & he'd die) I understand why he's not telling Sam. Based on the current information Dean is making the right choice. And since Sam is feeling good & in his own words is happy with his life now I think that shows Dean was right to not let him just die. Sam is seeing & feeling that light at the end of the tunnel. So i don't disagree with Dean letting Zeke ride in Sam. Yes Zeke being able to take over whenever & erase memories is suspect but Sam would be dead if he didn't kill those Demons. I'm only saying this cause i see tons of people commenting about this being Dean's big bad decision he made. I don't see it as that. I'm sure tons of people will reply disagreeing & that's cool I'm willing to debate. But only if it's civil. Anyway, great reaction Dakara sorry i haven't commented in ages.

Just wanted to let you know that there's at least one person out here who agrees with you. Dean came to Sam in the church with the information that completing the trials would kill him, and said he would back his play whatever he chose. Sam chose life over the trials. In the hospital, Dean honoured that choice of Sam's in the only way he could. Was it a good option? No. But it was the ONLY option he had.
@rose_mnor4 жыл бұрын
Jake, I agree with you that Dean had made the correct decision in allowing Ezekiel to possess Sam. He had to make a huge decision by making the choice for Sam, basically in a split second. To him, one moment Sam wants to live and then in another, he wanted to die. We had been shown this, Dean was amazed when he went into Sam’s mind and saw that Sam chose death. It was like whiplash to him. Of course he had to save Sam, he had found the way to do so. Ezekiel had given him the means to do so. And when presented with the means so Sam could live, well, it was a no brainer. Sam can get angry with him, but at least he is alive. And in my opinion, his decision to not let Sam die is also not because he cannot let him go. He did let Sam go before, in S5. But when that one happened, they went into that situation AFTER they had discussed Sam’s decision together. He did not get blindsided by Sam at that time. Another thing, after all these seasons, after all that had happened, I am glad it was clearly stated in the show that Dean he is more than a brother to Sam. It is canon Dean feels that he had to be both a mother and father to Sam. Would a parent let his child die when there is a way to not let him be dead? Yeah, possession is awful, but it is in character for Dean to act this way. The show had shown us since season 2 that Dean could and would not let Sam die if he has a way to prevent it (not counting S5-that time they had no other choice). Let the consequences be damned, he will deal with it later, after Sam is saved.
