Rating - 9.5/10 - What a strong season this is becoming already! I loved seeing a Cas-centric episode. I just feel for him so much! He has constant knocks & yet still tries to help & do what he feels is right. That end scene hurt!!! Dean looked pained to say to Cas that he had to leave the bunker - after he only just arrived!!!! I cant even. Zeke why??? WHY YOU GONNA PLAY US LIKE THAT? We have a new 'big bad'?? Bart - you evil evil 'angel' you!

This episode was so hard to watch for me, and I still hate rewatching it. Cas didn’t deserve to be sent away without any explanation, Dean could have told him why and then said you have to leave, and till this day my heart aches for Cas

i know! would it fucking kill them to give a short explanation? literally just, "hey cas, so glad to see you're ok but we can't stay cause the angels are trying to use us to find you and vice versa. here's a phone with our numbers, stay in contact." that's literally it!

i've rewatched all of supernatural multiple times but i always find myself skipping this episode, or at least the end. it's not that it's a bad ep i just literaly cannot bear to watch dean tell cas he can't stay, especially after all of the pain and confusion cas must've been feeling. it shatters my fucking heart to even think about.

You need to notice the different in dean's room.. When dean knew that cas is human now he prepare his room for him.. It is small details really from the writers but so beautiful.. Welcome to destiel world ❤️

Now Cas and Sam can trade stories and relate over the dangerous women they fall for. And that last part breaks me, ugh! Is just so f***! just when Cas thought things were about to get better for him :c I hate because he didn't deserve to be treated like that, we know that when forced to choose between Sam and the rest of the world, Dean is going to pick Sam and I get it... doesn't mean I'm not pissed at pretty much everyone except Cas.

It doesn't really make sense that reapers glow when striked by an angel blade since they are supposed neutral not filled with hate or grace. Castiel being human is such a sad thing that is perfect for his character. Sam not exploding when taking on Ezekiel is due to the fact that Sam and Dean (and Jimmy Novak) are extremely strong vessels. Think about it, Sam is Lucifer's true self.

I disagree. First off we know Reapers have some sort of grace, secondly those Reapers were making deals with rogue Angels. I would think that says something about their integrity and "soul''. I think that's why both were killable via either blade.

@@BLBborn They don't have any type of grace in them. But if you go all the way back to "Death Takes a Holiday" from season 4, when Alastair kills a reaper, even though it is below the frame, there is a light emanating from the reaper as he is killed.

@@mikev1642 They have grace in them. I remember they mentioned in the show that reapers are a lower for of angels so they’d have a little grace in them to perform supernatural duties.

I agree that Jared is great playing other characters: Lucifer/Ezekiel....and I loved your concerned reaction to Cas getting stabbed.... I'm a little confused with both reaper characters as I always thought that they could go without being seen unless they wanted to, but of course wouldn't have made for an interesting ep storywise..... great reaction as always, D! a double CTU treat for you and keep em coming!

I do think Ezekiel should have been the one to notice the reaper, after all the reaper did not know there was an angel with them.

Yeah, they definitely stretched the established lore on Reapers this season. I still remember in Season 4 when even killing a Reaper was a Big Deal, and it could only be done with Death's cycle. Now they can easily be killed with Angel Blades? And like you said, that one reaper should have been able to tail the brothers without being seen at all. They weren't originally supposed to be "a type of angel" they were their own species. Arg.

i don't really like how they twisted reapers here. they've always been portrayed as neutral, only sinister because of what they represent but it also depended on their approach and often with at least some softness and compassion. even them as coyotes still lended themselves towards neutrality. but this? she was cruel and the guy, while more in the same vein as neutral, still comes off as opportunistic and uncaring. reapers aren't actually uncaring at all, they just know what happens if someone doesn't pass on as they should

I do hate that Dean gave in and sent Cass away, but it does lead to some later scenes with Castiel that I LOVE. Again, he starts growing more and developing further. My favorite character!

I LOVE Cas, he didn't deserve to get kicked out but Dean is not at fault here. You should be angry at Ezekiel, not him. Dean was forced to choose between the death of his brother or Cas living with them. Clearly option 1 is more serious and final.

This whole April thing where he has sex with her makes me uncomfortable to be honest. I hate this part of the episode where she throws herself at him and he falls for it and they immediately have sex .___. I think it's just creepy. And then the end when Dean throws him out. Horrible 😕

I love cas so much in this episode and I HATE THIS EPISODE!!!(I mean I obviously love it BUT),I hate how they hurt Cas by literally killing him and just him being lost on what he should do,I just feel so bad for him and how Dean sends him out,WHY?!
