I actually like the bright light on the first version of the PS4 and the touch buttons the glossy finish makes it look more attractive but that's just me everyone's different. As for the slim i like that it's smaller, makes less noise, has faster internet and it doesn't overheat as bad as the first version does and i've noticed it doesn't lag as bad as the first version does after a while of owning it and playing it.

Great video, Dakota! The optical audio out port is one I never use - I won't miss it. A video showing the fans running at full speed would be nice, but since you already reset your old PS4 I guess that's difficult to do now. The white desk looks great, by the way! Happy Thanksgiving!

The Original PlayStation 4 CUH1200 is better than PS4 Slim.. I have the 1TB version and power consumption is lower and it doesn't sound like an airplane. It's definitely like the Slim same performance it doesn't sound loud less power consumption but with it's original Form.

Well as for the specs the slim has better internet it supports both 5Ghz and 2.4Ghz depending the type of internet you have that's a good thing to have it's also silent and it doesn't overheat as fast and the PS4 fat but it does get hot pretty fast but that doesn't effect the performance at least not for me.

@@UltimatelyEverything my PlayStation 4 doesn't get hot well if you have the version 2 PS4 phat with 1TB Storage it's besicaly the same as the slim except for the wifi internet like the 5Ghz and 2.4Ghz you said but for me it's connection is pretty good wirelessly never tried it with wire or Ethernet cable because for me ny connection is fine

They dropped the optical audio so they can cut the cost. The idea of slim models are not to make things better, but cheaper. That's why I always prefer original consoles, because they are not build on a budget. You can see by yourself that slim looks like a cheap toy and design is pretty simplistic.
