HMMWV: Complete Painting Process, from start to finish & 4 door top install
In this video we will be sanding down the Humvee, doing all the prep work, and then completely painting the whole truck. Started off with 3 base coats of green, then 3 coats of black and brown to complete the three color camouflage pattern. After the paint, we install the brand new four door top kit.

Where do I start.,?? Rookie mistakes everywhere but you gotta learn somehow. Ask questions before you just start doing stuff that will bite you in the end. . As a car painter since 1986. NEVER sand by hand when you can use a machine except for wet sanding ( Color sanding ) prior to buffing. Finger marks are real and you'll sand thru your skin. Why did you use ,80 grit. Yikes!!!! Never use 80.grot unless you are going to.primer it and block it out. You will 100% get sand scratches and shrink back.

high Pete 454, as i am also hunting actually I found out; long times i did follow auction prices of: Govplanet, - the cars low miles, but mostly *poor condition, actually I see cheaper - but no so often for M998 = prices f.i. = 1992= $ 14.950,- / 1989 = 14.900,- /2000 = $12.999,- = until $ 30.000 ea.; On * carsforsale.com ..AM general humvee * = here are the Humvees in this price-class = 2-door as truck, but - modifying - to 4-doors very cheap w/used parts as you can see in internet. Carsforsale *Cars are as used cars = immediately driveable wishing you success, searching, Regards from Germany

I always get asked who painted your ride? I always laugh and say me the camo paint is Wal-Mart camouflage paints all done by me. We paint all our shit custom in the military. They use special paint with radar absorbing paint aka lead paint in the old days. Black brown od green tan coyote tan ...... Whether its desert woodland or snow camo its easy to to.

Be cautious when working with CARC paint. Could be hazardous when painting or sanding.

I don't think you can import them. The US gov is very strict about selling them.
