Not knowing anything about NASCAR and always wondering what some friends and why there were so many fans. I've been watching Dale Jrs video's for about a week and now I get it and feel I really missed out for years. Thanks Jr for making me a fan and understanding the sport. Clint says how grandpa would be saying how Fred was pretty good if you named them, well that literally happened. A friend of mine had a steer he named Jordan then invited me over for steaks and was saying yup were going eat Jordan and that was the talk during the meal haha.

Ugh! That is exactly why I have hard time eating meat! My grandparents had a "pet" bull, Ferdinand, I brushed and rode him like the horses. One day he was gone. Flash forward a few months, we are eating some steaks and my Grandmother says, doesn't Ferdinand taste delicious!? I was like 10 years old. I spit it out, started crying and didn't eat meat for quite some time. I just stuck to grilled cheese !

My grand father taught me at a young when I raised a pig that I named Homer, in the fall after fall harvest we were eating some pork and he asked me how Homer tasted. He said son you never name your food.
