Hi Jo Ah yes the snow and ice can be a major problem for the poor animals can’t it, but you and Nick seem to manage and they all seem happy enough. You sure do alot of walking.....keeps you shape 😊....great scenery.....here in 🇨🇦 tonight it's -22c feeling -29c with the wind....we had lots of sun but it's sure cold....with all that snow I don't know why in the winter you don't keep the animals closer to home...it would save on the walking....oh and I have NO comments for Sir Nick....other than I feel a chill seeing him in shorts😊(come on spring!!!!!)

Looks like winter ! My sister loves snow . She would have a snow dance . Looks a wonder . Sounds crusty . It very cold in some areas in the states. We are dry and cold .I call it dry ice time , because it's so dry out . We don't have the moisture . It looks prity looking down the valley . Thankyou for the video. You seem chipper . Joanna, your farm is magical, and the snow creates such a beautiful scene. I can understand how you walk around your farm, and sometimes you just can’t help but look at the lighting, the contrast of the sky, trees and of course the snow. I’m glad the animals are fine, you take very good care of them. The animals are probably a lot more adaptable than we are. 🙏🏼

What is January the 19th in Atlanta Georgia we had snow and cold last week they talking about snow and ice and cold this week will the record low temperatures which is outstanding for us because we're Way South than you I think they're calling for 5:00 tomorrow morning I don't worry about animals but I do worry about the people I see on the streets in those highland cows are like feeding a big boiler good morning the warmer they get 😁 and yes it is quite beautiful and stunning but so are you and so is Nick with the shorts on he's got to be part Scottish 😆 just keep filled up on some good hot tea and it will be overcome spring 😉🐝

Do love a good hoar frost and a sunny morning 😊. Even we got down to -5 or -6 one night! If you take the ice out of the trough the ice won’t get so thick. The girls here never do it and ends up being a nightmare to break compared to me taking it out every morning by hand

I remember being out in Switzerland in 87 and the temp -20 during the day, my hair froze with ice and so did my beard. That was a bad year for the uk too, with a lot of snow and low temps.

Might I suggest you carry a camera with you on your morning and evening chore walks and take some photos of the stunning scenery with those sunrises and sunsets, perhaps people would like to buy them.

you got a nice bit of snow ............snowed down south over here ......we got very little snow , but what fell turned to a sheet of ice in the yard .....was hard to walk on ..........glad to see the back of it .....was..troublesome keeping water going to cattle in sheds ......cattle eat way more when the weather is cold also. ........those staying on the camp site are hardy folk in weather like that ......!
