The pandorica two parter is the closest thing we’ll ever get to an ACTUAL paradigm dalek story. All the others either have them sit around or don’t have them at all.

I do love the Remembrance novelisation, I love that it basically sets up the Dalek creatures to be junkies that are fed feel-good hormones by the machines for successful kills. I also love Revelation, it really fleshes out the already interesting minor characters. It's thanks to you that I've gained a greater appreciation for Revelation.

Dalek Audio: Jubilee or Juggernauts (Davros tops them both tho" Chibnall Dalek Episode: Revolution Moffat Episode: into the dalek. I would love to get my hands on the revelation of the Daleks novelisation since the episode is just perfection. For the next episode of QT: Which Big Finish Dalek Audios would you love to see included in the History of The Daleks toy line?

Hi, @DalekBumps. It's not a question, but I would really love you shedding some light on this topic. I recently understood that beholders are kind of like daleks. Hear me out: - Main attack is a beam of something. - One-eyed squddish thing, usually asymmetrical. - Hates things that are not it, but especially things that interfere and members of its species that deviates from an ideal. - They try to kill parents/children (as in when a beholder dreams of itself it creates a clone, and then they fight; daleks and Davros tried to backstab each other a lot of times.) - Beholders are also strong legendary monsters that can hit hard and devastate cities. One would be enough. I know you might not be a dnd nerd, but I find it really interesting how two such different entities can be essentially fantasy/sci fi counterparts if you look at them right.

@dalekbumps the 50th could have lots of titles. Time and the Zygons The Moment The Destiny Of A Time Lord etc. Out of curiosity I had a recent theory. If beings like Sutekh and the Mara have entered the Pantheon. Do you believe its possible that the Daleks, Dalek Emperor or Davros are in it as a possible God's Of War or something?

I found the Saward novelisations a bit strange, take a shot every time the Tereleptils are name dropped, you'll be bladdered by the halfway point. The Daleks Master Plan novel is amazing though.

They're definitely strange, and downright bizarre in places, but they're a fun read for fans of Saward's TV stories

I thought the first two episodes were a bit too silly for my tastes, but all of the other episodes have been great, especially 73 Yards and Dot and Bubble

Better than Journeys End?

Without a doubt. Stolen Earth is a great Dalek story but Journey's End is deeply, deeply flawed in a lot of ways - as a series finale, as a Dalek story, as a culmination of RTD's era, and even in terms of basic things like plot and character consistency. A clear advantage that the Chibnall Dalek stories have over RTD's is that Chibnall's Dalek stories are standalone, whereas RTD's Dalek stories also have to act as series finales and are burdened with all the extra story expectations that come with that. This isn't as much of a problem with Parting of the Ways or Doomsday, but both of those episodes are much better-written and better-executed than Journey's End in terms of how they use the Daleks (and most importantly, how the Daleks are defeated at the end)
