Asylum was definitely a wasted opportunity for so many things. If it had been made in the Classic Who time, say take Revelation and Asylum concepts... but I'm just speculating. There are just so many ways that story could have gone but it was very... bland and unfortunate.

It would have been fun if they became a commune of 'hippie' Daleks with psychedelic coloured casings, etc.

You should definitely do a couple what if's. Like go full in depth and let your imagination go wild, that is if it's your thing. Maybe a video where you analyse the strength of a faction or another. Could be neat and allow you to get other things you enjoy into this!

5. Daleks invasion of Earth 4.The Power of the Daleks - Probably the Daleks at their scheming best 3. Death to the Daleks - Bit Goofy this story but part of the charm. The daleks having to improvise with weapons, shooting a toy Tardis, "Human female has escaped I have failed" and the Dalek having its Exterminator stolen are some of the highlights that make this one an enjoyable watch. 2. Day of the Daleks - I have mixed feelings about the special edition it certainly adds improved Dalek voices and effects which were enjoyable. I find there's just something off as well when the Daleks speak over the original version and I know this episode gets knocked for the original voice but I didn't mind them tbh. I really love that connection you made with Hartigan & Davros, as it's something I always did with him & John Lumic since I was a young teenager. Aside from their respective physical conditions, both men were somewhat hypocritical when their creations enforced their own will back on them. A will that they planted in them. Also, like Davros, I love how both Hartigan & Davros are still portrayed as characters beholding of power despite their experiences & allegiance.

I think it'd be cool if Sec had returned to Skaro, found remnants of the Thals that are still in hiding, and became a sort of mythical figure called 'The Knight of Skaro', leading the Thals against the Daleks in an attempt to retake their homeworld. And being part-Dalek in the highest echolons of power, Sec would have unique insight into their nature, technology and tactics. He'd have some of the Doctor's empathy and human emotion, but a streak of Dalek ruthlessness that could set him apart from other characters. As in, Sec is the one doing the right things for the right reasons, but brutally and with a ruthlessly pragmatic attitude to preserving life.
