We’re replacing an old vinyl seawall were the tieback systems have failed. We will be installing a new naval style wall with 7 inch pilings two sets of double rough cut 2 x 8 wheelers and 14 foot vinyl sheet piling. The wall will be tied back with a type 3/16 stainless steel threaded rod system and a manta rays in the area were traditional tieback pilings cannot be installed.

I appreciate you videoing your progress. Doing that type of work is challenging enough, let alone filming it. Thank you for sharing, as your company does some excellent work in the marine construction industry. It's hard to appreciate the labor, time, and especially, the money, It takes to maintain a waterfront property until you live on one (we live waterfront in Orange Beach, AL). 3/4 of our seawall is from 1978 +/- and is in terrible condition. Thank goodness our property is flat, as our means to fix it is not there at moment. We did add a reinforcement seawall, but ole Sally girl gave us a rundown and yanked 12 out of 16 pilings we jetted in. The big ole Sportfishers are amazing to watch fly by, but they take a huge toll on erosion and produce a giant wake. Thank you for sharing your Content. I enjoy watching it, as I appreciate and understand the time/labor/money that goes into it. Thanks.

I learned alot by watching you. I wish could afford a barge and pusher, but I just can't seem to get ahead enough to afford the purchase. I have decided to go with an all aluminum barge 10'11.5" wide × 30' long that is towable, 30 ton verba crane on a turntable , with a mantis hammer for 80k, and for landward bulkheads, and fill I have delivery of a jcb 1cxt in March. Some bigger companies in my area that actually relate between each other say it is a good plan but they wouldn't do it. I don't have much choice due to the financials of the situation. I am 5 years in and 41. The manual labor, wetsuits. Washing everything by hand is rough on my old worn out 24 yrs of construction back. Time to switch it up the best that I can afford. I think I will do ok. I am in the inner/obx area of northeast nc.

those are legit anchors! I thought it was just some terminology used. I see how it works now. Do you guys do concrete walls with concrete pilings?

How do you remove or cut through fiber cloth that is deep down?

Sorry I missed your question and thanks for watching my channel. That is a real challenge. Equipment really helps by digging it out. Sometimes you just have to try to drive it down through it. I have put an ax head on the end of a pipe before to help with that when I can’t get equipment in the area.

Thanks for your comment the vinyl sheet Piling we use is good up to 6 1/2 to 7 foot exposed I do preferred to put a center whaler a Pilings in front when I get higher than that I really recommend anything about 5 feet.
