Finally something different - Loved it. - I think recognised 3 maybe even 4 of the parody's Just when you think there's a bit of a formula to making an outdoor gear review Long walk on, some trees, long walk out, more trees, hold fingers up to the horizon, Say turned around, to describe lost. Lucky to have 85kg of kit on the quad bike, but you forgot a decent tent. sleeping in a mylar bivvy - with a sleep pad, a down pillow, under a tarp with fire wood to last days, you have matches/lighter but use a ferro rod or flint and steel.

It is a difficult question to answer but I advise just buying the bare essentials to begin with and if you like the hobby, then after researching spend as much as you can afford on gear within reason, like tent, mat, clothing, bag, or quilt. Otherwise you will end up just upgrading stuff which will inevitably cost you more in the long run.
