This is so cool. I visited this summer for a week, and I recognize so many things. Also the giant eyeball kind of has a story around it. It’s private property, too lol.

Flew down there a few years ago trim Seattle... Took my brother to a Dallas Stars game for his birthday. A interesting way they sang the National Anthem was that no one sang along. Completely silent, except for the person who was there to perform it. Everyone in the arena were standing in attention, saluting, and others with their hand over their heart. However, the only time they would blurt out during the anthem is the two times the word "Stars" would come up. Not going to lie, it startled the heck out of key. A humble experience and nice rendition of their way they sing the National anthem.
@UltimateBucketList3 жыл бұрын
Oh really, I didn't notice. Some people sang along and I did notice the Stars thing, but some other NHL teams do that with select words (Winnipeg's one is annoying as hell).

Nice video. But seeing so many references to guns was kind of unusual. I live in Dallas, and even though our family has two shotguns, a long rifle, and two handguns, we never carry them around. We only use them for target shooting at the gun ranges. From an insider's perspective I'd recommend visitors check out the Arts District, Fair Park, Deep Ellum, the Bishop Arts District, and the Uptown neighborhoods of Dallas. There are also many more neighborhood based attractions, but unless you know where to go it can be difficult to find without a car. The aforementioned spots can be accessed using the City's Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) buses, trains, trolley, or D-Link bus. Keep up the good work!
@UltimateBucketList2 жыл бұрын
Thank Troy. As someone who comes from a country where almost all guns are illegal to own if you're a civilian, it's strange to me that there's such an open-carry policy - and it was pretty obvious who was packing. And yes, there's plenty of attractions that I didn't mention, but the transport in Dallas seems to be pretty good! :)
