Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Reunion: Farewell to Texas Stadium

In October 2008, former DCCs from every decade joined current DCCs for a final performance at Texas Stadium, which was demolished the following spring. See if you recognize any of your favorites from the past. Hint: each lady's jersey number is the first year she cheered for the Cowboys. Each group dances to music from their respective decades.

As we get older we would realize we are always the same person inside. That's why when we see older people still killing it at what they did decades ago, that's because all that skills never really left. It's just physical limitation in some cases, but if you're overall healthy, you still can do what you did when you're young!!

I cheered in the Super Bowl X year 1975. From that group of 36 we have 2 attorneys, several CPAs, an investment banker, and many who opened their own dance studios. 8-10 of us perform for the Reunions and, although we're only a few short years to Medicare, we're STILL shakin' it !!

+Marti winn God Bless You and the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. That is one of the few positive institutions from the 1970s that is still valuable today. I remember S.B. 13 (1979, Steelers-Cowboys) and did you know that at that time the DCC was so popular that a made-for-TV movie about them gained higher ratings that the actual Super Bowl?

I think they should have a reunion of all the classes at the AT&T field and it should be like block party kind of a deal. I'm sure the girls would show up for it probably not all of them would show but the majority of them would show up.

They actually do. I'm friends with a lady who was a DCC back in the '80s,they actually have an DCC Alumni association just like a High School or College has? And they also have functions on game days at "JerryWorld" and such. Several other teams squads do the same,and have conventions,so she tells me???

I've been told that she considered re-auditioning in 2008, but chose to retire after her second year. I remember @ing her on social media about how cool it would've been for her to cheer at the new stadium had she stayed om the squad for two more years.

I was born in Pittsburgh so I’m a die hard Steelers fan; however, I love what the DCC represents. I don’t like some of the rules that the girls are forced to abide by. Like if they r at a restaurant and a player comes in, they have to leave. I did wonder with those white shorts, what would happen if someone had a “period” accident. Lastly, what would they do if a transgender individual tries out. I fully support the LGBTQ community. (My daughter is trans). So I think they deserve to be treated the same; however, there’s no way to hide their penis in those shorts. Even if it’s taped up. I’m just curious. I do know that they don’t allow trans athletes to compete in their old gender as it gives him a huge advantage. Again I’m just curious.
