This is an extraordinarily powerful and beautiful message, even by the standard of other Dallas Willard messages, which is a very high bar indeed. It's sad that we're 32 years on from when this message was first delivered, and the things Dr. Willard was pointing to are no better than then, and in many ways worse. Dr. Willard, and by extension those that are making these messages available, are a true blessing at a time when the church is most in need of this kind of guidance. Take heart: I am sensing an uptick in awareness of the key points Dr. Willard made, and they're coming from people I would never has expected. The teaching is getting out there.
