Parenting is a lifetime commitment, God has given us The Conscience to convict us, The Rod to our parents to correct us. The Sword to the Government to instill fear of the Law, and The Gospel of The Grace of God to Save our Souls from Hell.

I think Dallas meant to say fruit of the Spirit and not 'gifts' since he lists the fruit of the Spirit in part shortly after rhetorically asking 'How does success relate to the gifts of the Spirit?'
