24:11 "I don't know what Minecraft is going to do about [the oversaturation of items]." A simple solution would be if Mojang created more uses for content already in the game. Imagine, if you will, if we could place bowls and bottles on a surface alongside flower pots. Even more, imagine if we could place down ingots next to a forge or bricks next to a desecrated structure. It isn't "adding" more stuff, but rather activating what is.
@HoneyDustTheReal6 күн бұрын
I totally agree with you on this one, and i feel like this is what vanilla friendly mods do well. I've long been a vanilla player but like dallas i've noticed some missed opportunities within the game, or weird mixing of features, so i wanted to try some mod packs. Anytime a mod would overhaul too much of minecraft i would get bored, whereas simple mods that simply enhance immersion through clever thinking mechanics that are logical to have in the game would become favorites of mine. This is where Mojang needs to focus for sure

@mikesforza79916 күн бұрын
If you make a wall of the pale gardens wood it will place the resin on any of the blocks, not just the two surrounding the heart. This way you don't have to break the two blocks so often to get new resin updates so often. It will place the resin on the wall of blocks too, I think it has a range of 8 blocks. Xisuma made a tutorial a few months ago even if you just want to get the details on the range.

The “hate” is that it’s another swampy looking area. Whereas they could have instead overhauled one of the current lackluster areas. Certainly not a bad update though.
@zb.10297 күн бұрын
It's not necessarily hate towards the biome, it's hate towards the lack of anything to do there. It's another thing you'll do one time and never again. There's no structures in the biome, only one mob and you can get every item in one trip. It's a cool concept and a cool biome but there's no reason to go there more than once. A structure there would've been a huge addition. It's ridiculously boring as it is right now. What we got was great but what we didn't get would've been even better.

So, as a viewer of Dallas for years, time to make in-depth predictions of what Dallas will use the pale oak wood for first. 1) A large manor 2) Replacing quartz 3) A building facade in the city
@TinyHam-qe3et6 күн бұрын
I want to say he'd replace the quartz but I also don't think Dallas could be bothered to do that. So we'll see! But I think he'll def use pale planks in future instead of quartz (except maybe the lab. Just so it matches. OR--- he might even replace some of the quartz in the lab with the oak and use both just to save the quartz. Hard saying!)

Great video Dallas! Build idea: Military base, which could follow a theme similar to a pillager outpost but in a much grander scale. With the training course being part of it or it having a training course of it's own. Video idea 💡: You should start redesigning the interior of the potion lab at your house, and actually make it the central potion manufacturing of your world! Of course, great job Dallas with everything 🎉

Hey Dallas, I had a thought. Seeing as your Armor is running low on durability, maybe it’s time to make a new armor set. But the thing that could make this new set unique is, the fact that you could use the Resin, as the material for the Trim. Just an idea 👍

Speaking on motivation: I've had several long lasting worlds but they get lost because I only had a phone to play. Now that I'm older I have more access to stable devices and the thing that has kept me motivated on my world of 2 years is taking screenshots. It's very similar to what you mention, uploading on KZbin. But for me I don't have that intention when I play, so screenshots really help me see what my world used to look like and it gives me a nostalgic feeling! It also makes me satisfied and proud of how far I have come and to see all my progress. 10/10 recommend taking screenshots or recording your world in some way! Even if it's just for you

Place the creaking heart everywhere in your city to have them spawn as makeshift people walking at night
@Jayden1x16 күн бұрын
I got ideas for the creacking room you could use: you could use a similar design to the end of the generator tube bit make it look like it's perhaps charging/putting resin into the spawner. Another interesting one I had was to make the creacking spawners pop out of the ground with red stone but that last one sounds a bit hard to pull off.

24:23 for me I think that Minecraft did have a solution for all the new implementations for the updates. It was literally a “Minecraft tutorial” when you bought the game it would show you literally everything and anything in Minecraft and you would have it as a preference. It’s such an easy fix. The only reason for the removal of the tutorial is the game has gone completely in a different direction than what it was originally intended with all these new features. It’s a lot to unpack in just one tutorial world. Yet, from personal experience I would spend hours on the tutorial world with my brother because I was so young that the tutorial world literally held my hand walked me through the entire game so I could play with my brother. The new tutorial can literally be an adventure map taking all across Minecraft when it’s officially done and if there extra stuff it would be like the strange and freaks mission on gta. For example kill wither, guardian temples, and the deep dark. P.s Don’t take it to literal it’s just a concept and suggestion.
