Omg, this really worked!!!! My husbands truck liner was just disgusting, he is a smoker. I used simple green and water, 50/50. Used a spray bottle and misted. Used a buffer, it turned out fantastic!!!! Thank you so much for the video!

Lol the Kevin Brown reference deserved a like. Thanks for the tips, my boss always taught us to not touch headliners but I knew there were ways to clean them but I know how fragile they are so I wouldn't.

So, today I watched this video and found his information very helpful. I went as far as calling Scott. He gave me good advise. These tools he uses are for pros. If you, like me, just want to clean your car, there are other off the shelf products you can use to save money. I enjoy your videos, Scott. Keep bring them to the public. Cookie in California.

I love these videos. They prove wrong the industry that is installing so much fear of doing damage to our cars that there are many misconceptions. You did them on your own car with real results. Props. Also I saw you got a shoutout from Pan the Organizer a while back. Idk if you agree with all his techniques, but he seems like a good guy with a pretty good following. Keep up these videos they help me and others more than you would ever imagine.

Going to try my Griots Garage DA to do my headliner and see the results! Unfortunately I am a smoker:( and my truck is 10 years old. It looks great on the exterior due to my paint correction biz , but havnt touched headliner and will let you know the results! Thanks for your time and effort into the detailing world!

What about a cloth style newer Toyota headliner? I already made the headliner fuzzy in the spots that I tried with a simple cloth and some light rubbing.

great way to clean the headliner. only I would not use APC. I would use a upholstery cleaner. some thing made for fabric. but if you have APC then use it . seems to work for him.

Are there any concerns taking this approach on an older car? I had a 1995 Buick where the headliner fabric separated (not sure if it was glue failure or if the foam pad dry rotted). Would this process potentially accelerate this kind of failure?

I did this to a small area of my headliner minus the blower part at the end. Let it air dry. It now has the demarcation line/wet spot all around the area I worked. How do I get rid of the line now?

I end up trying to Clean my Coustmer head liner with chemicals guys Fabric cleaner on a Drill Brush ( white) after Words I try to exstact it with my Bissell an It LEFT Ring Or Line Spots, Were am I going wrong

This is one of those times when I wish I’d taken before and after pics. Thanks for sharing this amazing technique. Took 5 years of spreading mildew off the headliner/ceiling of a 1984 VE Westfalia in 20 minutes no problem.

Hello Scott happy memorial day btw. I see you are using a white microfiber pad for a light colored headliner. My question to you is Do you think its a good idea if i use a black microfiber pad for dark colored headliner just to play it safe?

Or use a drill with soft brush and cleaner wipe it with a microfiber cloth when done works great on my 22 FX4 ford truck and I do it every time I detail my truck smells amazing and gets stains out to

Hey scott I just ceramic coated my dark blue Honda and wow the water just runs off the car. Just wanted to share, I used the cheap Mr fix 10.00 coating but was amazed by how it turned out. Great video love your videos. 😎😎
