That is beautiful! I've been doing my hair at home for about 2 yrs now, going blonde or ashy is hard to maintain! I'm glad I found your YT channels for tips on how to do it more professionally. A lot of my friends, ask me to do their hair too, but I always tell them I WILL NOT touch it bc I am no professional. Love your videos, and thank you for sharing your knowledge with us!

Hey, darling! Do you have any idea what acidic color should i use for the mids and ends of the hair since i do not find Redkens Toners in my country. I have found the Gel Lacquers from Redkens for the roots, but i have no idea what acidic color should i use for the rest of the color to tone it down. Do you have any idea? Thank you!

How long did you keep the root color in? Usually root touch up color is only 5 or 10 minutes but it usually doesn't get that bright so I'm thinking perhaps you kept it in longer then that? I would really preciate an answer, I am not the first person to ask for timing, thanks! Loove your videos ❣

How do you prevent hair snapping from overlapping on hair that is already bleached? Are there any tips? I can do foils, but is there something else which you would use?
@bibz8456 жыл бұрын
Hey ellebangs, I’ve recently started colouring my own hair again after having blonde foils done professionally for 10 years. I’ve just grown tired of the whole process. I have A LOT of hair and the time and the Sydney prices were killing me. I should also say that I’m quite confident colouring my own hair and did so for years before I walked into a salon. Anyway, I’m only 33 but heavily grey at the front (thanks genetics). Will root shadow work with grey hair? It looks absolutely stunning and seems like a doable technique for me. I’m a very light blonde at the moment and in desperate need of some depth. Appreciate any advice you can give as I know you’re a busy lady. Totally obsessed with your vids x

You are extremely talented, where are you located. I love the fact that you are an expert and understand the science behind the results.. I could never understand how so many young people entering this profession , have zero understanding of chemistry nor any interest in learning more about it . This is a truly cerebral profession and not a back up job , keep doing what you are doing , you are unique for certain !

Your so relaxing to watch can tell your in full control and you know Exactly what your doing. Unlike the bish I just paid 300 to do a full head of foils but left me with full inches of regrowth from my prior scalp bleach with no foils to be seen from my mid section down.... 😭

Very good video!! I wish I could find a stylist that does what you do in this video. This color touch up method is so hard to find since so many stylist use bleach. I find that bleach vs highlight color makes the hair much more dry. I had my hair done in this manner for 8 years and it worked wonderfully but then I moved and have not been able to find a good stylist. Using bleach has left my hair brittle for the most part and it’s not worth it anymore. Where can I find a stylist in Northern Dallas? I cannot understand why this is so hard. If there is any recommendation please let me know.
@chelsealaine25505 ай бұрын
Elle very much uses bleach and so does the model in the video. The only reason they didn't is bc she wasn't lightening her hair- that wasn't the goal of the appointment. It's not a different method of lightening like highlights with foils vs free painting. Toning is what is done after hair has been bleached.

Very nice. Do you put the toner on the roots too?
@beno70356 жыл бұрын
Love your Videos. Just a question (I am no professionell) and color my hair at home. Since I start with the color on back head and afterwards with the front hair, the color comes brigther, as I learned that the hair on the back head needs more time with the color than the front section, with finer hair. Does I get a different result while using the Toner in the same way like you did?
