Hi Beth. Oh yes, the rollers brought back many memories. My mom was always trying to get my hair to curl. She'd use the smaller size, and put me to bed with them. Ouch. And the curl would hold for 10 minutes! You're the only one I know who looks adorable in rollers! Love the way your hair turned out. Super cute. You look much better than Prince! Big hugs❣💝😘

The product that hurt my skin was First Air Beauty’s Hyaluronic Acid Serum. I’ve used that product a ton in the past and thought it was a known entity. I’m not sure what was going on, but it really irritated me.

@@InfinitegardenbyBethK oh yes. The price of beauty. My mom and gradmom gave me a home perm when I was about 3 or 4. I don't know why they were obsessed with curls! I'm sorry about the serum causing a burn. Hyaluronic acid can be tricky, if not incorporated with a moisturizer. It can actually wind up severely drying your skin if used alone. Hopefully, you are all healed up. Enjoy your week. It's beautiful here, and I need to get some things done until I can get outside. 💞💞🌞

Big curlers! I've had all my previously-colored hair chopped off and it's a shock. It'll be eons before I have enough hair for your curlers! I remember in high school one of my girlfriends used to use soup cans, and (what was I thinking?!) I used to iron my hair straight on the ironing board with an iron!

How do you prevent the kinks in the hair from these rollers where it snaps on?? I could not get these without it bending my hair weirdly!

I’m still figuring that out myself. It has to do with how tight the wrap is around the roller with a pin before the snap on bit. I can rationalize it but I still get some kinks.

Dry enough, or pretty dry, or 90% dry means that the curl will fall out. You definitely want to take your hair out of the curlers after it is 100% dry.
