Damascus steel from bicycle tires (from bead bundle)

The process of making blades by forging welding (Damascus steel) of bead bundle bicycle tires. A total of eight tires were used. One blade is made with a twist in a quarter turn, the second in a half turn. The container is added: ground red pepper, ground black pepper, dried red pepper (for sharpness), salicylic acid (carburizer).

I gotta say, first off, what a fantastic idea in the materials department. Second, that's definitely top 3 favorite damascus patterns I have ever seen. I've seen so many people try to use really small bar stock, wire, ect. To get a unique pattern but I've never seen one come out quite as badass as this one. Much, much, much respect my friend. It's from the packet of cacao powder he added to the canister, in the beginning of the video. It prevents the contents from sticking to the outer shell. So, that once he cut through it, he had no problem pulling it apart
