Really digging the gloss. Looks like the best Batman after DKR. Usually Mezcos don't translate well in photos, but as soon as this video started, I was like, 'whooa.' I still can't stand the new(ish) pleather capes. I wish they would stick to the weighted one like on DKR batman.

As much as I like this one, I think i'm going to pass on it, only because it reminds me so much of the Keaton Batman, which we know is coming as it's own release. The other reason is because I'm definitely getting the regular Sovereign release and most likely the PX blue version!

I've never liked the black on yellow bat symbol much. It's a very nice figure, but ruined by that bat symbol imo. The bright yellow against all that black is just too much of an eyesore. If this figure would've had the long black bat symbol stretched across his chest and no gloss the fig would've been absolutely perfect for me. Loved the way the body suit turned out. It is better than I expected and I think it's superior to the way the regular Sovereign Knight batman body suit is.

So for the regular release, I always expected the line work to be there. I am personally a fan of the original release which had a black cloth undersuit and grey applied vinyl sections. It provided more stark contrast between the grey vinyl and the cloth. At ToyFair they were showing the figure with a grey cloth undersuit and grey vinyl. It still had the lines, but grey on grey was more difficult to distinguish, especially since the two grey colors were so similar (as opposed to the PX version, where they grey vinyl is much lighter compared to the grey undersuit). Being a fan of the black undersuit and grey vinyl version first shown, I understand why they would change it to grey undersuit with grey vinyl. It looks more like an evolution of his regular release Ascending Knight suit than with the black undersuit. In the end it's not a super big deal.

I think the reason that Mezco Batman is always taller than mezco superman (and a lot of other figs in the one:12 line) is because Bruce Wayne canonically is a HUGE guy. Batman is canonically 6’4 in the comics last I checked and Superman is 6’2.

careful with that hook in the back of the belt... you have to drop the gun in from the TOP. if you mess with push/pulling the holder, it WILL break, as mine did, very easily. nothing a dot of superglue couldn't fix, but the plastic keeping it there is embarrassingly thin.

Ez Films true, usually for that I’ll just display them at different heights to make it look better like Spider-Man with a jump pose while cap standing so you can’t exactly tell their the same height

Ez Films also you have to check that their feet positioning are evenly placed, most reviewers don’t make sure the legs are the same exact stance when comparing sizes so one figure might look shorter because his feet are wider apart
