There are quite a lot of negative comments about Dame Helen Mirren here - Barry & Dame Helen are friends, I don’t believe that Helen was unhappy about Dame Edna’s behaviour in this interview. However, I’m not so sure about the other two non entities…

I will miss him. I remember many many years ago staying in Moonee Ponds when I was touring Australia and found out years later Barry went to AA there. The man gave me so many laughs I actually adored Sir Les and saw him at the Shaftesbury when I was much younger, My father took me to see him and he pushed past us as we were sat in our seats to make his way to the stage as Sir Les. My dad got all flustered until he realised it was him. So many tears of laughter. I adored him.

Thanks for the laughs Mr Humphreys. And thanks also for allowing some tickets for your memorial service to go to your fans . We got on the end of a couple. It was very, very, very good service and very ,very funny and a real insight to you as a person. You have some wonderful people in your life. Thanks to your family for allowing this. I went dressed as a poor version Sir Les Patterson as a tribute to yourself. Couldn't quite find the right baby blue oversize suit however,( I don't have a tailor in Hong Kong to help out unfortunately😉!) But I got some of the stains just right !
